If you are traveling along I-81 and go through Winchester, VA, don't miss Hog It Up BBQ! We stopped for a late lunch and found the food incredibly good. Loved the brisket, the fried corn, the corn puddin, and sweoke beans. Loved talking to the Chef. The service was good and the ambiance was wonderfully fun. Guy Fieri, where are you?
This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. The people are inviting and the atmosphere is warm. When your here you're a friend and both the people and the food will satisfy the mind, body, and soul. The brisket was tender and delicious and hush puppies are hand down the best I've had anywhere. If you dont stop here it should be a crime in the tristate area.
My wife and I shared the sampler platter and an order of fried cicharron’s for lunch. Food was excellent. Our server Virginia checked on us several times, along with Mike the owner and the other gentleman working today. (Sorry I didn’t get his name.) Everything was excellent will definitely come back very soon!
