Counter seating, coat hanger nearby, and a short menu (means they do those things really well). The hashbrowns have some sort of home recepie vibe to them that made them stand out, super good. I had eggs benedict, the plating was good, the eggs were pretty much perfectly cooked. Coffee stayed hot and full, and the server and cook seem to be the owners and spoke with us for a little bit about local events and hiking. Glad to have finally gone here.

Best breakfast in Winchester HANDS DOWN. I highly recommend trying their rice bowl with shrimp, but their pancakes are easily the best ones around. Tender and crispy with awesome butter flavor. French toast is fluffy and delicious! Amazing crispy bacon (without it being burned!). And every order of sausage gravy or chipped beef gravy is MADE TO ORDER 🥰 We will absolutely be regulars here. The new owners are amazing kind people who are lovely to talk to while enjoying delicious breakfast.

If you are sensitive to smoke, avoid this place. The smell of cigars/smoke from the Tobacco shop next door is very strong in the restaurant. A friend and I stopped in for lunch with our kids, but couldn’t bear the smell long enough to even order. I feel so bad for the owners of this place because there’s nothing they can do about the smell.

The Grill is small with only counter seating, and has a neat retro lunch-counter vibe where you can watch your meal being prepared on the grill right behind the counter. The couple who own and run the place were wonderfully friendly and engaging, and my husband and I both enjoyed chatting with them. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was well-prepared and delicious. Will definitely return!

The new owners have made this a wonderful experience. If you want to have a nice meal, chat with the chef/owner, share stories, and eat truly delicious breakfast, I can’t recommend this spot enough. Americana breakfast with a Thai spin! This is the height of breakfast cuisine I wish we had more of them in America.
