Piccadilly Grill Diner

Went on Christmas morning because they were open. Very busy but they stayed on top of things and the food was freshly made. So good. We will definitely be returning.

Wife and I have been to Piccadilly Grill twice now and have really enjoyed the food and the new owners Natalie and chef A are great people.
Since most all the big chain restaurants are getting to expensive and lacking in service and cleanliness we are seeking out our local home cooking mom and pop restaurants that are more homey and would rather patronize more small businesses.
This place serves breakfast all day and closes at 3:00 pm but serves a wide range of dishes and will accommodate you if you would like something fixed your way.
Piccadilly Grill is located in an older diner building that has been in Winchester ever since at least the late 1960's because I have seen many owner changes since then because I've eaten here a lot in my younger days, I believe at one point it was called the White Palace or Snow White Palace?
Stop in at Piccadilly Grill and see Natalie and chef A, you won't be disappointed 😋

We thought this was going to be interesting based on the online menus, unfortunately the ownership had changed, and the menu also changed.

One of the items we got was a vegetable omelette and it was very strange. The mushrooms that were supposed to be in it were probably not. At least the wife didn't notice any but it had peas and carrots in it and that was not on the list of vegetables that shouldn't been in the omelette.

We each had bacon and rather than cooking it fresh they just had some already cooked base bacon on the side of the griddle and they gave that to us so it was warm and a little on the dry side. I took some home to make a sandwich later but it would have been much better cooked fresh.

This was our first and our last visit and I would just advise anyone going to check the vegetables in the vegetable omelette if they order one.

A lovely couple took over this establishment earlier this year, and they are a joy. The food was great, and the conversation was just as good. They were wonderful with my kids. If you’re staying at the hotel across the street, keep this in mind for breakfast. Also, try out the Thai tea!

Very friendly service, plenty to choose from and great food!

Cute little local dinner with a lovely couple working the customer service/grill. We had a very tasty breakfast of beef rice bowl and pancakes. One of the owners was helping to entertain a kid with her cute stuff duck while his food was being cooked. I would totally recommend this place and if you want some winery or brewery recommendations the lady has some great ones if you are just traveling through the area.
