Great little bar at the George Washington hotel in Winchester. We came here after dinner for live music on Saturday night. Everyone is always super nice here and the service is great. Nice, classy intimate venue at the hotel.
Husband planned a getaway for our 41st Anniversary while staying at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Va. The half note music each night & the setting was romantic & so relaxing. Like stepping back in time.

It was great to have a restaurant open after driving 4 hours. The half note is located in the lobby of George Washington hotel. Downtown! They were open when a lot of other places were not, as a result, I wish the menu would include a few small plates items chicken fingers , fries (truffle Parmesan) soups (French onion), maybe this would be the kids menu. The beds were comfortable and the room clean.
