While vacationing at Sugar Mountain, NC I saw the vintage glass bottles of milk at the Loews grocery store and it reminded me of my childhood getting milk from Aldrich Dairy in my hometown. It was the best milk I’ve had in decades. I never really paid attention to the taste of the milk I drink until this experience. Now the bar has been set at the highest level. I wish my local grocery store in FL would carry products from Hometown Creamery.
This little spot is worth a moment of your time.

Service is a little slow but they are the nicest ever.
I had the Ruben and would definitely recommend.

This place can get busy, especially on summer weekends. Nearly everything in the store is produced locally by or for the creamery. They use A2 milk for the ice cream, so it's easier to process, especially if you're lactose intollerant.
