“The perfect southern small town restaurant. Real home cooking. BEST CHICKEN I've had in a long time. Bravo. After eating all the soul and BBQ in the area, yall's the absolute winner in my humble opinion. Amazing meal. ? (started devouring my meal before taking the one pic LOL.) So delicious!!!”
“Felt welcomed right away. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Food was good and tea was sweet...just how it should be. Our party of 4 each tried a different burger and everyone was satisfied.”
“Great tasting burritos at reasonable prices. Food is very tasty and prepared fresh and fast.FyI, no soda fountain drinks only bottled drinks. Chips and salsa are not served with your food order like your typical Mexican restaurants, which probably helps keep prices on food cheaper than other restaurants. I personally enjoyed the side salad that was served with my burrito order.Overall, it was great tasting food.”
“Hot dogs are good. I was raised up eating from here. The recipe has changed through the years for hot dogs. I believe they're not as good as they used to be.”
“I have been here dozens and dozens of times. I keep coming back for the excellent Italian and American food with a surprising middle eastern flair in some dishes. The staff are always friendly and quickly assist in any way they can. Not to mention that the place is clean and prices are fair.I highly recommend their Egyptian flatbread, especially with garlic and cheese. Fantastic little treat! This is the BEST Italian restaurant I have been to.Parking: Lots of spots that fill up quickly due to demand”
“My friends and I LOVE this place!! Such a great atmosphere for catching up on the details of each other's lives while relaxing with a glass of wine! The food is great and the dessert is out of this world! The addition of their "pub," the Alley Cat, which is located downstairs, is an added bonus! It has a totally different vibe from upstairs, offering a large selection of craft beer, delicious food, and music. Trust me about this place!! It is well worth a visit!Also... check out the fun gift shop!! Something for everyone!!”
“They're working on renevations, which makes it slightly cluttered and not the best appearance wise, but other than that, food was fantastic and service was great when I and a big group ate here Sunday.”
“The WholeBean Coffee House is one of the most welcoming locations in the area of Rocky Mount. They are a small business and the owner Kylie is one of the nicest individuals I have ever met. I go there and often and their food is amazing! Always a 10/10. I’m in L O V E with the whole bean :)- Skyler & Nicole”
“Great atmosphere and hospitality. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Beautiful view with a GREAT back deck. Very modern, spacious, and clean inside. Will be back to try more.”
“A party of six of us went here Wednesday night before going to The Harvester. This was the first time for most of us and I for one, will definitely be back! The food was great, lots of different drinks to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“Best home cooking around, just like mama used to make back home in Texas. Fair prices for large food portions....and did I mention Marys home made deserts? Elclair pie and banana pudding are my favs!”
“Tjis was our first time in the restaurant. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings, and my boyfriend ordered a hamburger with the cheese fries with bacon. The service was great. Kathy was wonderful to us. The people there are so kind, although the food may take a little while to get it was worth it. Definately will go again.”
“Kupkakery did cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding. They were amazing! Everyone raved about them. Their staff was wonderful to work with. I have also gone to the shop & gotten cupcakes for people visiting and have never been disappointed.”
“Good food. Customer service and friendliness is always missing.Never got ask about a refill and everybody walks around like they are doing me a favour by being there.”
“Best sticky buns around! You can also find fabrics and trims that you'll never find in a "fabric" store. If you're ever traveling down 116 stop in. The ladies there are so kind and helpful.”

“Delicious BBQ with friendly service and clean restrooms. We had ribs, baked beans and a BBQ bowl (Mac n cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw topped with hush puppies). Everything was tasty and the portions were large. We ended up taking home ha all of each of the entrees.”

“Frank’s Pizza is a hidden gem in Rocky Mount as far as I’m concerned. Great food! We shared the calzone and the cheesesteak special. Both were delicious! Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. We have been visiting Frank’s for over 20 years when we are in the area and we are never disappointed. There are so many great choices on the menu. Plenty of parking.”
“Yes, this place has great Americana food. It fits the description of the Hole in the Wall establishment. The slaw dog was tasty and the banana pudding as well. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to try the other ”
“I love this place! It is amazing, the drinks are always 10/10 and I love the staff! Grace is the absolute best ever, shes always co soderate of others and always has a smile on her face when she greets you!!”
“This place was in a very difficult spot to get to, having been blocked in by those in the gas station, but we had to stop because they were adamently recommended to us by some locals. The food is breakfast diner food, and it was delicious and familiar. Its exactly as you would expect it, no frills needed! The service was great, the waitress was attentive and kind and the food came out quickly. This is a cute little stop and definitely recommended for a quick, simple, delicious breakfast.”
“Been coming to this subway for a year. I have watched the employees turn over like swapping Laundry. I have seen first hand them short sandwiches when double meat was ordered. I have called from the parking lot and watch them not pick up the phone when the place was empty. I do have choices of other subways but this one is near my house. I have to hover over them to make sure they do their job when I order food.”
“Vegan shop with vegan Cafe. Reasonably priced and nice selection. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer free classes on nutrition, vegan cooking and even organic gardening. Highly recommend for all vegans and ANYONE interested in improving your health and quality of life!”
“This place is great! I went today and bought hibiscus flower to make agua de Jamaica. The woman who works in the shop is the sweetest person and she helped me a lot. Will be back soon. Glad this place exists here!”
“WE MISS KROGER IN NC! We were meeting a friend in Greensboro for lunch and decided to drive the 90 minutes up to this location to get our Kroger fix. I don't know why we decided to patronize them since the reason they closed all the NC locations was to break the employee's union and many lost their pensions that they were so close to getting. Oh, well, crazy us!The store is typical Kroger all the way. We actually came here for one of their types of toilet tissue specifically that we found at one of their knock off stores that they have in the Midwest called Ruler Foods by Kroger. They're no frills like Aldi where merchandise is just left in their shipping boxes and placed on shelves. It's stuff that either the label has been updated (as we found to be the case with the ones at this Kroger in Rocky Mount) or maybe overstock items. Anyway, we stocked up on the TP that's better than what we'd been getting at Aldi.We did get a number of other items and grumbled all the way thru the place about how the shoppers and employees in NC got cheated by the company in one way or another. Beware people of VA, you may be next on the chopping block!”
“We ordered a giant turkey and provolone cheese sandwich Mike’s way. Told them to put the sauce on sloppy. It was great! Brought back some memories for my husband from the old days when he was in the Airforce and used to go out and eat with the crew.Vegetarian options: If a person would not mind a bread sandwich with vegetables it would be okay. I did notice they do have a grill and offer grilled mushrooms and veggies.Parking: Parking lot for many surrounding stores including Jersey Mike’s. Public Parking Lot.”
“I have eaten here at this Dairy Queen nearly over 75 times across 6-7 years. I still have not had a bad experience. Sure, there have been just okay moments in terms of food, but I have always found a very clean establishment and FANTASTIC service. This is the best Dairy Queen I've been to. Come here!”
“This food is delicious, the prices are good, the only problem is the guys do not speak and understand English. But all was good just have to be patient.Parking: It's a little tight getting into this parking lot, stop lights help. When the Resturant next door is open it's less parking at ChestersWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk has places for wheelchair access.”

“The ice cream is great! The roast beef sandwich for $7.99 with no sides or drink had very little roast beef and it seems like the cheapest variety of deli cuts from the grocery store… it’s disappointing because I even left a tip before getting my sandwich… tomato was fresh and thick and the cheese was good (hopefully theirs) and fresh bread ….”
