Looking for a tasty meal I turned to our local treasure, Armetta's Restaurant. I ordered the steak and cheese sub, chicken and cheese sub and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Want a break from the kitchen? This is the place.

We've always seen Armetta's driving along Old Bridge so decided to check it out for a date. The food was decent but pricey. $12 for a very plain, and medium sized plated, Caesar salad. The Bruschetta was soaked in balsamic vinegar which overpowered it entirely. The chicken picatta was good but the serving did not match the $22 price tag. Worse part was we ask for another basket of bread and was told it would be an extra $1.50 so we passed. The server never came...
