The prices were outrageous, with excessive upcharges for everything. The salad and soup were mediocre, the ramen had an unpleasant taste, the sushi was bland, and the dumplings were simply bad. DO NOT EAT HERE!
Fresh and tasty rolls. Let them know what you like and they will give you the best recommendation.
The tea is absolutely amazing. The food, I have had better. Bento mom is amazing. She has a great Customer service skill set.

I don’t like to write negative comments but after reading some reviews I realized I’m not the only one feeling the same.
Sushi craving yesterday so I quickly found a sushi place nearby. High reviews in the vicinity on Google map but I walked into this empty restaurant seeing lots of handcrafted goodies and notes of memory on the wall, tables, up and down, left and right everywhere, with all these maybe food is good. The bento mom said she and her husband, the chef, has been running this place for 19 years, and has lots of customers from all over the world, it explains the smell, history, and ambience. The menu items and pricing were written plus the pictures were quite confusing and complicated to read, that being said, there’s nothing catchy. So I simply ordered what I normally have for a first-visit sushi place, and found out how odds and abnormal of the quantity I first saw and quality I finally tasted. The food was surprisingly overpriced after I got the bill and the pricing was lack of itemization and transparency. A hand sized box with a combo of two sushi rolls squeezed in for $26.35? The portion of sushi rolls was small and the ratio of rice was too generous to find the existence of tuna and salmon. Am I eating just rice rolls? And alongside tiny bit of wasabi and "chopped" into pieces of pickled ginger reflected how much they suffered from inflation and treasured what they have. And the lady said the soy sauce was homemade, people even drink it. I doubted about self-brewed soy sauce because no one does it on their own, I still gave it a try anyway. I swear that soy sauce smelled and tasted just like the age of this place, and weirdly flavored with whatever you/I don't want to know. At the end, I just swallowed them all for the sake of money I put. I totally felt scammed. What a horrible dining experience for the first time ever and I will never go back or even think about this place again despite how friendly and nice this lady was. I’m here for food.

Bento mom is so kind and loving! She loves to brag about her sushi! It's the best I've ever had. Perfect servings, the dumplings are out of this world! I've been coming here for years. I always make my way back !

One of the worst dining experience.
Overpriced and poor quality food.
The place smells like they have been frying all day long even though it was empty.
Place is outdated, and not well mantained.
Half open kitchen, does not seem to be kept clean and organized, boxes everywhere.
People working in it do not have basic uniforms, no hat or hairnet , that is usually required while working with food. A fan blowing in the dining room wasn't helping. It was warm and sticky. No AC.
All together awful experience.

Great sushi and the owner is a super sweet lady. Their home made soy sauce is amazing and the veggie dumplings is a pefect combination of taste and cruchiness.

Terrible! Wish I read the lower ratings before coming here. Ordered two small sushi (salmon and tuna roll). Usually the basic of rolls at any sushi place. Guess how much I was charged?
$40! Literally two tiny basic rolls. I asked for the receipt. She wouldn’t give it to me. Online the prices for these two are $10.95 and $9.95. How does that come out to $40??????
Casually told me that online prices have changed because things are expensive now. My rolls didn’t even have salmon or tuna. It was basically just rice. I’m livid!!!
Cute maximalistic bento shops with plants trinkets and a friendly owner who makes the soy sauce from scratch! Delicious and the store has a nice authentic vibe.
