The food was delicious, but our server left much to be desired. Moments after being seated, we were told we needed to order because the kitchen was closing... we had an 8:30pm reservation. If the kitchen closes by 8:45pm, we shouldn't have been allowed to make the reservation. The remainder of the evening, we felt like a burden to the server despite not making any requests.
Wow, what an incredible dining experience. Bistro L'Hermitage delivers wonderful French cuisine, top-notch drink selections, and service that truly makes you feel special. Dennis was so attentive and welcoming, treating us like family from the moment we walked through the door. The warm atmosphere and attention to detail make it easy to see why so many people choose Bistro L'Hermitage to celebrate special occasions. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!
This sounds like a strange critique, but we have never experienced the level of sheer annoyance of being bothered by so many service people walking around and staring at our plates to see when they could remove a place or fill our water glasses. They were almost tripping over one another. Our table conversation was constantly interrupted by the servers, wine order takers, water fillers, managers, etc, coming by to ask if everything was ok, etc. It was probably every 30-60 seconds,...
