This is by far the best Thai place in Northern VA. I have tried a few places since I have moved here, however, this place Dok Khao, the best. Service experience I had once was terrible but food brings me back;/
I've been to this establishment a few times and have always enjoyed the food each time. The only thing that could use some improvement is the service. There have been several times where the waiter/waitress would only visit our table to take the order, bring the food, and bring the check. In between we were not really checked on and drinks were not refilled unless we waved them down.
This is our second time here. First time was excellent. Food and service were great. Second time the waiter doesn’t know how to split a bill and added extra to her tips until I saw the bill coming through. Very disappointed with this experience.
