First we walked up to the doors and they were locked, as if we couldn't get in. Once we found a way in from another door we were accused that the front door wasn't locked. We then headed to the host's stand where a worker was on his phone. We sat down and ordered and the food looked awful. Overcooked beef brisket ( looked like baby food and mushy, with tons of fat and hardly any firm meat, what little meat there was tasted like beef jerky) and extremely dry ribs (which tasted like pork chops). ON top of all of this THERE WAS CORN IN THE MAC N CHEESE!!! For a place claiming to be southern food, they disrespected anyone born in the south with that. The server wasn't the best and only refilled our drinks and spoke to us when getting our order. Didn't even check on us while we were just sitting there. The manager had to be called over to discuss our problems with the meal. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

So, I did a thing and trusted the server Kevin and tried something different and it was delicious. Kevin was awesome, attentive and had the best suggestions. I mean just the best customer service and he was genuine with it! See you soon Kevin and thank you!!

Had lunch with my daughter a few days ago and was shocked at how affordable and delicious the food was it was actually the same price as eating at a fast food joint will definitely come back many times

Overall, the presentation looks okay. I'll just say that I will not be coming back. I was headed to Smokey Bones across the street but decided to try something new. I got the Mac & Cheese but it was mooshy, brisket, dry and the corn on a Cobb, let's just say you can tell it just sits in the water for a very long time, the napkin holder was really dirty. I may be too harsh but as someone who tries different restaurants, I will not recommend nor come back to this place.

Overall, would not come back especially since Smokey Bones is accross the steeet and they have like 6 different BBQ sauces. Outdated design, food was subpar just overall not very appitizing. The server was very good and polite so that was a plus and the cornbread muffin was good. Stay away from the mac and cheese (that had corn in it).

Ordered 2 lunches both with ribs and chicken and side of baked beans with a pint of baked beans. Didn't add my total up or I would have seen I wasn't getting what I wanted. Got one lunch with double ? Order of ribs no chicken . No explanation as to why that was.
