My family and I had a fantastic experience at the Frostie Moose! The staff was pleasant and very helpful, and the ice cream was delicious! All soft serve, but very yummy! They even have vegan options for my one kid who is vegan. Not a ton of seating inside, but plenty of seating outside. We went towards the end of the day so plenty of shade. I’m not sure if they put up umbrellas during the day, but I would hope that they do. I highly recommend you check out the Frostie...
I’m a rural Pennsylvanian transplant whose grandfather made ice cream for a living. And like any good rural Pennsylvanian, I’m obsessed with peanut butter. Until today I could confidently say no one outside of where I’m from makes a good peanut butter sundae or peanut butter ripple. But I have found the Holy Grail! Marshmallow ice cream with homemade peanut butter sauce. Heaven sent!
We had to stop for a tasty treat. The menu is extensive, lots of options from soft serve to frozen. Flavors are also a huge range from sweet to not too sweet. They also have options from cones to bowls. The area itself is very cute and they have moose items everywhere! While the ice cream is a bit expensive, it was good. The staff was also incredibly friendly. And, be kind! Some of the staff was new and still learning the ropes :)
