Coming back from a funeral service, all I wanted was comfort food. Kababayan did not dissapoint us! Everything was what I had hoped it would be. The Halo Halo was not too sweet for the health conscious seniors like us. Kudos to the staff and the owner. You are a blessing to the Filipino community who needed a to go place for good home cooked meal.
The food here is really good but gotten so expensive in the last few years. We used to see people lined up to the front doors when the foods were cheap. Now you barely see much people anymore, not because the food is bad but because the food is too expensive.
Absolutely love Kababayan. Definitely my favorite Filipino restaurant in all of northern Virginia. Their BBQ skewers, pancit, and adobo can't be beat. Same for the halo halo. It's a delightful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Can't ask for more than that!
