Had a wonderful time speaking with the owners, and enjoying their specialties, such as Mofongo with Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, and Coconut Flan.

Tostones not authentic. The using the frozen ones that comes in a bag. The carne frita was burn. Bad experience overall.

ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY! as a Boricua ?? coming here was an absolute joy. The Churrasco was the most tender I've ever had it and the flavor profile was perfect. The mofongo, the rice, the flan, all a testament to the chef's masterful skill.

Increible! La carne, el mofongo, el arroz...como estar en casa otra vez ✨️

Unfortunately, Mofongo Steakhouse is a complete let down and embarrassment. We had friends in from Puerto Rico and were excited to try Mofongo Steakhouse, The service was sub standard, there was a big party in the back and server and management I guess forgot about other paying customers. Next the food was -1 stars , the oil they use to cook the food in seems to not have been changed in a while the fried food had a weird taste. Next for the main entree I ordered Pollo Empanizado 1) WAY Over priced !! 2) McDonald’s chicken nuggets would have been better . The chicken strips seem like they were out of a bag from already prepped chicken tenders that you’re paying $21.99 for A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY ?! Please save yourself the aggravation and go to Cheesecake Factory in Potomac Mills or Texas Roadhouse for a good meal.

I’ve been coming to Mofongo for about 3 years. Their food to me is the Best PR food I’ve ever had in VA since moving here 10 years ago. I am PR and it tastes like my family’s cooking. My family & I eat here at least once a month & I have had them cater my son’s bday party for the past 3 years! The owner Luz has always cooked my order herself & it is always a hit at our gatherings. They deserve a 10 ⭐️ review for their service! ??

Oh man, Mofongo in the DC area. I love this place. I had Mofongo with lechón and was awesome. There alcapurrias and arroz con gandules was also great. Customer service was on point. I strongly recommend. Bring the whole family. ??

I absolutely live eating here! It's hard to find Puerto Rican/Dominican fanfare in Northern Virginia as you'll primarily find South American, Mexican, and Tex-Mex restaurants, so this is a great option that's reasonably priced!

No real bacalao, instead they used cod and still charged the price for bacalao. Only one waitress who is everywhere and well overpriced but not worth it. I don’t recommend

The service was excellent, the food was okay, the rice was good, the beans were watery, and the beef stew was not so good. It didn't have the Puertorican or Dominican flavor. I will try something different next time.
