Tex’s Chicken & Burgers

The food here is always fresh, well-cooked, and delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and we really enjoy coming to this place. However, I would like to mention one issue the food is sometimes not hot when we receive it. This has happened a couple of times to my family and me. One of the young staff members with glasses usually keeps the packed food on the prepped table/back counter instead of calling out the order number, and then starts walking around even when the store isn’t busy, which causes delays and sitting there become cold. We’ve noticed the same thing happening to other customers as well, and they seemed frustrated too. We really love the food here and love coming back, but we would greatly appreciate it if the food could always be served hot.

The food at Texas Chicken & Burgers is really tasty — the chicken is crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the burgers are fresh and flavorful. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are good. However, the service can be quite slow at times, especially during busy hours. It takes a while for orders to be ready, even for takeout. Other than that, it’s a good spot for comfort food if you’re not in a rush.

The previous reviews on this restaurant show this place is awesome. Sadly, this is not as advertised. Service was slow. I know there were at least two employees in the back room and didnt come to help get out the food orders. Burgers were cold and when we asked to add additional condiments on the burger the orederer said we couldnt. They claim the burger meat is fresh but its dry and overcooked. The chicken special advertised in the window states 4 pieces of thighs and legs for 5 bucks. What comes is 3 pieces and a biscuit. I guess that is technically correct but misleading. Spicy chicken is very spicy with gallons of cayenne.
I would be surprised is this store lasts through its first year. You may want to clean up the booths and wipe the dirty tables. Mop the floors!
