My husband and I visited for the first time, and we had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, Mr. Moon made us feel welcome. When we told him it was our first time, he gave us suggestions and helped us decide what to order.

We even joked with him, asking if the food was really as good as his excellent customer service or if he was just saying that because he worked there. He laughed and said the food was really good—and he was right!

We ordered the fried chicken with coleslaw and mac & cheese, and it was so delicious that we were too hungry to stop and take pictures. Mr. Moon was very attentive throughout our visit, even while multitasking and helping other customers. He checked on us several times and made sure everything was perfect.

When we mentioned we were still hungry, he suggested trying a burger. We warned him that we’re very picky and always want things customized, but he smiled and said, “I got you.” And he absolutely did! He even let me try the burger sauce before ordering.

What stood out the most was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our meal and had a great experience. He was patient, friendly, and always had a smile on his face. He even shared some of the restaurant’s history and asked what we thought about our visit.

At the end, he asked if we’d come back, and we jokingly said “no,” but the truth is we will definitely be back! We loved the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. Hopefully Mr. Moon will be there to welcome us again on our next visit. 💚🍗🍔

I ordered delivery yesterday for the first time. The chicken , biscuits and corn left me wanting for more. I would highly recommend Texs food and cant wait for next time

What a shame that such a good place is ruined by lack of proper staffing. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for 2 pieces of chicken only to find that they didn’t have what I ordered. I then asked for a refund and was told that there was no manager in the store to offer a refund and the poor girl behind the cash register took $10 out of her purse and gave it to me. Absolutely shameful - I hope she finds a better job at a better place.
