Peace in the Valley was a great show with excellent singers. Our group enjoyed the show very much! The food was another story. The broccoli slaw was full of tough stalk- like pieces with no flavor. The Shepherds pie was just ok but, disappointed that it was served as an entree at such a nice event.
Tea was very good.
The servers had a lot of people to serve and feel that extra help would have made serving easier. This is the first time that our dinner plates were left on the tables when the show started.
Hoping my comments will be addressed because we love to come to the Wohlfahrt Haus.
I was with a group of 7 women attending a matinee performance of Peace in the Valley. The performance of these talented men and women was excellent! The food however was the worst we have ever had. On the table upon arrival was the usual chips and cheese and a very nice little salad. I am very sorry to report that the main course was the worst Shepherds Pie with an unrecognizable vegetable medley of greens any of us had ever tasted? Certainly NOT good. Most all of us ate not more than a spoonful or two. We were not the only ones surrendering our main course to be trashed or disposed of. It was very disappointing.
The desert was a brownie that was very stale and hard. Also surrendered most if not all to be disposed of.
Certainly a financial waste of money. Very disappointing! Please, please, you have to serve a better meal or learn to cook. 😞
We just ate at the restaurant. Food and service was good.
Food was ok .. show was good.. nice evening overall
We went to the matinee show for The Foreigner on Sunday and it was extremely funny with superb acting! Food was ok, better than expected, and the sweet tea was great. Our waitress was also an actress in the play, so props to her for doing both jobs at once! I was impressed. Would definitely come back for another show.
So called German food ? Redskin potato’s in spicy mustard what’s that? It’s not German potato salad.
We have had season tickets in the past and always enjoyed shows and meals. The Elvis tribute we saw last night was awesome but the meal was terrible. Chicken was dry and tough and the rice and broccoli was plain and very bland. The dessert was a 1 1/2 inch square hard block that tasted like peanut butter. Not sure what it was. Service is not quite what it use to be either. We do hope that meals and service will improve. We have always enjoyed our evenings at the wohlphardt!
The dinner show food was really bad. They said they had new management which is scary since the food they were serving was terrible and the portions from all 6 at our table were completely different and sad. The bread was from a sheet cake and tasted really bad. You all have to work on making the food way better or you are going to drive the place into the ground. Now on to the show itself was so great. Stephen Freeman did an awesome Elvis impersonator concert. He deserves 5 stats just for him.
Dinner was canned chicken, rice a roni, and frozen broccoli. Ended up ordering from the bar and carrying it in. SO DISAPPOINTING. Eat before you go. The dinner in dinner theatre is for cats is seems.
Lovely theater great show fun servers. Very comfortable and fun

Entertaining and meal was adequate
A large group of us from NC visited this theater last week to see Christmas in the Park. Everyone was lovely - beautiful decorations, friendly staff, excellent singers, great production - but unfortunately, the entire theater building was ice COLD. This was quite surprising and disappointing to us. We actually wondered if the heat was in working order at all, especially since a few of the actors joked about the room temperature.
Either way, it was unfortunate that the major topic of conversation was the discomfort of COLD hands, feet, fingers and the overall dreadfully COLD environment. The vast majority of the audience was seniors, and it was especially difficult. We all were wearing heavy coats, hats, scarves, even gloves, and we were drinking coffee...anything (!!!) to try and stay warm, but it was horribly uncomfortable - so much so that it was difficult to enjoy the show. Hopefully, they remedy this problem for future programs, so guests can have livelier conversation and feel more at ease.
Fantastic show and service
Food was good! Saw the sow Oklahoma, FANTASTIC!!
I was part of a group of 15 senior adults. The food was fantastic and the show was even better. This place is wonderful. I highly recommend it.
