Directly down the stairs from the park and walk you'll find the best place in town for local draught-craft beer. Speaking of friendly, our dog was even welcome at the bar! Then the food: great menu and outdoor seating with view of the bay and across to Gloucester. Highly recommend! Just Do It!
We were seated promptly. Our meal was greatly enjoyed. The views from the outdoor patio was a nice addition. We had one item on our bill that we had a question about. We were able to speak with the waitress and then the manager, who we appreciate for going beyond what was necessary to make it right.

6/15/26 Beautiful day at Yorktown Beach in VA. Stopped at Water Street Grill for some food and refreshments for myself and visiting friends. Server Bianca was wonderful and her demeanor was everything a customer would desire when dining at and restaurant! Lobster bisque all around (delicious), Blackened Salmon, Philly Cheese steak w/fries. Ginger Ale, Ice Tea such round out the beverages. It was a very enjoyable dining experience.
