Guests have noted the very friendly hostess and the reasonable prices. Portions are large, making it easy to leave full and have leftovers for lunch. The warm bread is nice, and the Meat Lasagna is delicious. The garlic bread is decent, while the pizza with prosciutto, parmigiana cheese, and arugula is divine. The calzone is gigantic and flavorful, served with a side of marinara. The Cannoli is fresh and delicious, with thoughtful touches like chocolate sauce on the side. Although the tiramisu is just okay, the overall experience at Il Castello is very good, and many guests express a desire to return to try more dishes like the Philly chicken supreme and Chicken Parmesan.
