Very stingy appetizer (the duck knodel, which sadly lacked the dumpling and paprika salt). And the fried egg looked like it was straight from Sysco, not something locally raised sadly. I would return, but would get an entree next time for a few more bucks. Also, pints of beer run between $11-14, which is a bit steep, even in today’s world. We chose to dine at Bronwyn on Battenkill because we were staying very nearby, it something different than where we'd normally chose to eat, and it seemed appropriate as it's Octoberfest. As a long time patron of Chauncey's it was quite remarkable to view the changes in this restaurant. Love what you've done with the place. We were attending an employee appreciation dinner. We had a great time and the service was outstanding. Along with a few of my fellow diners I chose the saurbraten which while not served with traditional sides was absolutely out of this world. Tender, flavorful and a generous portion to boot. The cheesy mashed potatoes was a nice complement....
