We came for the Land Rover Experience and I must say we expected so much more. The potential is there but our stay fell way short of our expectations. We stayed in room #234 which had the bare minimums. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, no ice bucket or ice machine near by. On 2/12 and 2/13

Dinner with a mountain view! I recommend the Tavern burger with mushrooms and bacon which was piled on high. It all came out within 15 minutes. We finished dinner with a warm cookie skillet topped with vanilla ice cream. What could be better? Maxine and Tarajia were friendly!
The burger was completely over seasoned. It appeared to be cooked medium rare as requested but was soooo dry and salty. Totally let down.

The Marsh Tavern offers outstanding food and service, catering to special diet needs with hearty, wholesome meals. This family-friendly restaurant is an excellent spot to celebrate special occasions, featuring a lovely veranda that provides stunning views of the Vermont sky. Guests can enjoy fast and friendly service with a drink on the beautiful grounds. While some have noted that the menu was fairly limited and prices were quite high for what was received, the ambience is described as charming and superb.
The Chop House, located within the Marsh Tavern, is popular among diners and has a dedicated team member, Ms. Maxine, providing exceptional service. Guests have enjoyed delicious meals, including crab cakes, sea bass, a wedge salad with local blue cheese, and a great pork chop. However, some reviews mentioned that the restaurant was short-staffed, leading to delays in service. Despite these issues, the overall dining experience is often regarded as wonderful, with ample interesting choices and well-selected healthful sides accompanying the meat selections. The manager, Paige, is welcoming and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. Marsh Tavern is highly recommended for its delicious food and excellent service.
