The brussel sprouts were so great I couldn't stop eating them.
After a slow start being seated and inattentive service, the waitstaff picked up their game and the rest of dinner was acceptable. Although I hadn't specified the fact we were ordering on the date- ight menu with special pricing (I thought it was evident by what we ordered) we were accommodated with the special pricing.
Chop House offers a cozy and sweet atmosphere with a good mix of people, great service, and delicious food. The restaurant is perfect for couples, larger parties, and families, with a kid-friendly environment. Special occasions are recognized, such as anniversaries. The cocktails and appetizers, especially the bread service and fried goat cheese, are highlights of the meal. Recommended dishes include the diver sea scallops, grilled wagyu burger, chicken roulade, and sea bass.
The staff is praised for their attentiveness and friendliness, with the waitress described as "so nice" and the server Maxine as "wonderful." The food is also highly regarded, with the lobster bisque, salad, sablefish, filet mignon, and New York cheesecake with fresh berries receiving positive reviews. The bartender Paige is commended for making the "best cosmo in all of Manchester."
Although some guests experienced issues with service, such as a short and snappy waitress, the overall experience at Chop House is worth the slightly higher prices, with superb service and a cozy atmosphere making it a memorable dining choice.
