A bit of a mixed bag for us. Jake was very congenial, welcoming, and kind. However - restaurants are about the food. Our calamari appetizer was great except for the heavy sweet sauce. It was not to my husbands and my taste tho our guest liked it. It seemed too cloying for the delicacy of the calamari. The sliced pepperoncini served with it was a nice twist. My husbands chicken dish was a bit over cooked and somewhat dry and uninspired. Our guests pasta dish was salty and bland. I tasted it and concurred. Disappointing. My chicken sandwich was good (thank you!) and served with bacon jam which was yummy! The salad it came with was in my opinion underdressed and understated. An opportunity missed. Our dessert pot de Creme needed to be a bit more silken. It was quite cloying and thick and did not have the traditional custard consistency. The room was pleasant with a small pumpkin on each table and well lit with a window wall. The waiting area had a lovely mural on the walls. I did notice some deferred maintenance. A small window pane in the entrance door was broken. The entry had apparently not been recently swept and had leaves in it. The paint was peeling on several of the interior window sills. One of the two restroom toilets would not flush. There was a plant on a table with some dead leaves that needed to be removed. We had been told by several people that this was a really great place to dine but unfortunately our experience did not align with that. We do however wish you the best of luck.

Relaxed and elegant dining experience. Our dinner was delicious. Service was good. The atmosphere was calming. I enjoyed everything.

I never write reviews especially bad ones but I think they should know and customers should know that I went there and ate shrimp and pasta and woke up the next morning with food poisoning. I had to deal with it all day and it was not fun. Just felt like I had to warn others and inform the restaurant itself.

Great Italian food, not just your usual pizza parlor fare.

This is a very romantic space with a good wine selection and well executed dishes. They have some great cocktails as well. The staff is very friendly and approachable, landing them firmly in the "impressive but unpretentious" territory I always look for in an Italian restaurant.

It was hard to choose from this attractive menu so we had to have a starter and a main course, although we knew we wouldn't be able to finish anything. Happily the leftovers were still great the next day. I had the gnudi with peas and proscuitto and Scott had the crispy calamari (he did finish that!). Then he had the Warm Spinach Salad with Poached Pears and Bacon and I had the Shrimp and Asparagus. It was all excellent. The bread and garlic olive oil dip which they brought with our drinks first was very welcome. It's an attractive place with well spaced tables and attentive service. So of course, we look forward to returning!

This Italian menu is solid and the wine selection is good. Highly recommend it for a night out. Prices are very reasonable. I had the fettuccine Alfredo which was delicious. My wife has the kale Cesar with chicken was amazing.

Very friendly staff. Great food! Good value. Great local brews. Middle shelf booze, but fair price in 2022.Exactly the time and energy I needed exchanged after driving 1200+ miles.Thank you! Peace!

Excellent evening out. Great wine list and the salads are made to order. I had the shrimp and asparagus linguine and my husband the pasta bolognese. Waitress was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely return again!

Quickly seated, attentive server and a pretty cool space. Drinks came pretty quickly but they were out of specific sodas as well as pellegrino. Now to the food, the arancini's were more fried risotto balls, covered in sauce and cheese, misnamed but tasty. The calamari were tender with a light, crispy coating and the chopped pepperincini marinade on it was a nice change. The 10oz steak strip was perfectly seasoned and cooked well but the potato and broccoli rabe side was little under done. The pappardelle with mushroom cream sauce took best plate of the evening. The mushrooms tender, the cream sauce delicate enough to not overwhelm the fungi and the pappardelle cooked perfectly al dente. The final plate was the crispy chicken over risotto, which seemed to be a twist on chicken parm but seated on a white risotto in lieu of a pasta in red. This plate really didn't work but could do so easily if the sweet red sauce and mozzarella on the chicken was replaced with the same mushroom cream sauce that was in the pappardelle dish. That would compliemnt the arborio nicely. All in all nice place, pleasant servers and a very good espresso.

I think our expectations of this place caused us to not be wowed like so many other people have reviewed. Good things - bread and oil were great, not busy so we got right in (5:00 pm), but my dish was a little spicier than I thought it would be, and the other two ladies who ordered the special of the day said it was a little too salty, enough to just not taste as good as we had hoped. Just wasn't as good as we had hoped.
