I love this place. Great atmosphere of a country store. Baked goods, fresh fruits, wine, etc. I live close by and love their donuts. I mailed them to California and they stayed fresh.

Amazing maple soft serve ice cream!!! This soft serve had maple bits in the soft serve, which definitely the flavor. When I first went, they ran out because it was so popular. On the way back, we stopped by again and they finally had it. I can see why they ran out the first time. I also had the apple strussel and it was on the softer side. I wish it was warmer and crispy, but was a great flavor. The service was normal. You just order with one of the workers and ring it up with the cashier. I would definitely stop by this place!

The Apple Barn Country Bake Shop is located on Rt 7 just south of Bennington. Fresh baked pies (apple, fruits of the forest, blueberry, etc.), cider donuts and other pastries are prepared and sold at the store. Also sold are cider, local cheeses, maple syrup, etc. Well worth a stop if you are traveling through VT on this route.

Very disappointed by the grossly overpriced items in the shop. A bag of maple popcorn for $10, a caramel apple for $8, a small box of assorted jellies for $27. I could go on. I know I may be on vacation, but I did not leave my brain or sensibilities at home.

Everyone working here is so kind. Lots of cute souvenirs to purchase. Loved the apple cider, lemon bar, slushie, and Vermont cheddars. They also have a corn maze and two cute baby piggies around back.

The pie was excellent! So were the other bakery items, including the apple cider donuts. Previous owners were using excessive sugar in everything. We will be stopping back when we are in this area.

New owner. Visited during their pig roast festival for the first time. Nice store with quality gift items. Bakery items looked great, fudge and apple cider. Will visit again when not so busy. And the pork was perfection!!!
