Finally got to stop in for some grub and was not disappointed!
Everything was absolutely delicious. I got the bangers and mash and my mom got the seafood combo with chips, and we each had one of the house branded root beers. The sausage was perfectly browned and cooked and the potatoes were mashed to perfection. The shrimp and scallops were nice but the fish was the real star of the seafood combo - flaky, buttery, light, and crispy! And the hand cut chips were phenomenal; not greasy at all.
Service was excellent, and the place was spotless.
We'll definitely be making the 2hr drive down again!

I’m from the UK and I’m soon planning to move to CT, I’ve visited New England many times and looked everywhere for a decent chippy, but nowhere was as good as home… until I found this place.
The fish and chips were fresh, delicious, and tasted exactly like home. The prices were very reasonable, a small fish and chips only costs $10.90, which is roughly what it costs in England. They also have a cute little selection of British sweets for you to purchase, also priced well. The staff were also very friendly!
Me and my fiancé drove over 120 miles to visit this place, and it’s safe to say we’ll be doing the drive all over again for another taste. Absolutely recommend to my English friends who live in New England, if you’re feeling a little homesick, come visit! 😊

this place has the best fish and chips in the area. Heck, I come to Bennington from the Capitol District in New York because I can’t find fish and chips is good. The only place you’re gonna find fish and chips. This good is if you are within 30 miles of the seashore and then it’s gonna be hit or miss. They pieces of fish they use are thick and wonderful wonderful and they put a bat on that completely in cases to fish steaming it inside the breading, which is exactly how a good fish and chip should be done. I’ve been coming here for a long time since they opened and I’ve never been disappointed. Try the curry sauce it’s amazing.

Traveling through the area and stopped for lunch. This quaint little restaurant was perfect! Fish and chips, with the sides, was wonderful. Fast service and great tasting food! Would eat here again if we are back in this area.
