Great drinks, delicious food, personable service. Super loud but that's to be expected in a tavern atmosphere. Always a long wait to be seated. Like most restaurants in this current age they seem to be perpetually short staffed but the staff they do have are always great. Awesome onion rings and the maple chipotle wings never disappoint. I do wish they would bring back the mussels steamed in beer finished with the creamy shallot sauce & bread, but understand that menus have to evolve and change. It would be great to bring back as a special occasionally.

Nice little place on Main St. Pretty standard fare, tho' the tomato soup tasing more like marinara sauce was unique. Would recommend.

Good food! Got the Mad VTer, Turkey Dinner Sammie, and the Pub Pie. Some of the best well rounded beer I’ve had traveling New England. 5/5 will come back.

Awesome awesome awesome! We came into Madison brewing for a beer and ended up doing a late lunch/ early dinner.

We started at the bar where the bartender Melissa was amazing. She was very nice and accommodating with tastes to see what we would like. We had a round of their pumpkin beer with the sugar ring, yum!

For lunch we started with the Bavarian pretzel ( hot and buttery)! We also had the sweet and spicy Brussels sprouts which were really good as well.

For our meal, I ordered the Big Mikes steak burger which had cheddar cheese and their smokehouse bacon. It was awesome served with fries. We also ordered 2 cranberry Melts we also had the mad Vermont melt (ham and cheddar)

Everything was perfect and Morgan was great taking care of our table! I highly recommend!

Good bar food. We had a couple of sandwiches and soup. I also tried the peanut butter stout, which was excellent.

Long time brewpub in the center of town . Large menu and the establishment really functions as a restaurant. Two floors with a friendly staff. Can get crowded.

Fabulous experience at this spacious pub. We enjoyed a lovely outdoor space on the second floor. The drinks and food were perfect and the service was top notch. Can't wait to return.

Stopped in Bennington to kill time, decided to grab lunch. Ordered the cottage pie and the club sandwich—cottage pie was really delicious, nice and hot. Club sandwich was good sized, the bread held up well, and the house made chips are so crispy and salty, they’re shockingly good. This place is worth a stop if you need lunch in southern VT
