Nice atmosphere service was great. Friend got haddock tacos and loved them. I got cubano sandwich and wasn't fond of it. Too much ham, not enough roast pork, and the texture of pork was too soft for me

Hiking the AT, stopped in town for resupply. Great food and own brew selection. Atmosphere was nice and service was impeccable. Best bar tender ever :)

I liked the good sized portions and delicious ale. Great little place.

The food was good and our waiter was very attentive. We were on our way to a movie so the food came out fast, which we appreciated.

When we walked in to be seated, the two waitresses and hostess were gossiping about what was going on in the restaurant and we had to wait for a while before we were seated. The hostess seemed more interested in the drink in her Stanley cup than the line of customers waiting at the podium. She kept looking past us and didn't even give us a hello, even though THAT'S HER JOB! JUST BE NICE!!!! Everything else was great, but this really felt off.

I'm giving this place a good review because everything else was quite good, the hostess just didn't feel like she even wanted to seat us. Which sucked because our waiter was quite good and very attentive!

Great venue with attentive staff, an outstanding selection of beers and brilliant food. Enjoyed the best steak I’ve found in my three months of travels in North America! Thanks Madison Brewing!

Nice ride through the sunny countryside in NY & VT visiting covered bridges. We picked Madison Brewing Co. for lunch. Exploring is thirsty work. Convient location on Main St (Rt 9) near thecorner of Rt 7 in Bennigton, VT.
Open 7 days a week Mon-Sat 11:30-9:00PM, Sun 11:30–8:00PM. We only found on street parking.
Two floors, the upper overlooking the brew tanks. Very busy at 1pm on a Tue.
We found 2 seats at the bar and were greeted by Casey J who took our drinks order (a 3 Amigos Mexican style beer - excellent & a Rosati pinot grigio - very good) They offer 13 beer choices-lagers, ales, stouts & a witbier. Eight beer sampler is only $9. I had the the grilled cheese & bacon on sourdough with a steaming mug of hearty tomato soup - perfect value combo ($13). My wife had the spinach artichoke sandwich - pesto, spinach, artichoke hearts, tomato, & mozzarella on multigrain bread ($16) - very fresh & tasty.
Very comfortable pub with an attentive staff, excellent beer selection, & good food.
Thank you to Casey J & staff. A good first impression and we will stop again when out exploring SW VT.

Great vibe here. Food is delicious, the pumpkin ale, simply amazing. They play alt music in the background, which adds to the coolness vibe. Worth stopping in.

Great place to stop by and have a meal if you’re just walking through the area or just driving through Bennington and need a place to stop a have a good meal. The tomato soup with grilled cheese was amazing and tasted like a good home cooked meal, incredibly comforting. The staff was nice as well and the service was excellent. Definitely will stop by next time we’re in Bennington.
