This was my first time at this little restaurant. The server was sweet but a bit of a space shot. The food was phenomena! We all were really impressed. Ken, the chef, actually brought some of the food to the table. Every bit of our food, including desert, was excellent. I want to say thank you for a lovely evening.

Had their meatball and rigatoni it was absolutely flavorful, delicious. Fresh baked bread. The owner ken was very personable, kind, and a true italian. It was the perfect meal i was looking for on the road. Will definitely stop by again

Had a lovely meal here with two friends. Dishes were really fabulous. Unfortunately the owner/chef was our server, and he took offense when we asked a simple question about how a dish was prepared, even making a comment "Not everything comes with a red sauce" as if we didn't know anything about Italian food or had asked some kind of insulting question. He continued to be slightly aggravated during the service. Although I paid a full tip, I later regretted not sending the message -- we had done nothing wrong and his attitude detracted from the pleasure of the meal in a way that wasn't really called for. Net net: great meal but lose the attitude and treat people with kindness not aloofness.

This place is fantastic, had a zucchini and summer squash anti pasti with a mint and basil dressing that was light, crisp and clean. Pork belly with polenta and blueberries that was crisp but not over cooked and not at all greasey, great flavors and texture and a caccio de peppe that was peppery and cheesy and as good as any I have ever had. my only regret is that I am a tourist in this town and leaving tomorrow and won't be able to go back for more, this place is worth a special trip. staff was friendly , knowledgeable, prices were well below what I would expect for the quality of the food. Can't recommend this place enough
I was here for a early dinner after my 5hr train trip, found this place right across the hotel. It did not disappoint at all. I work at an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn NY, and let me tell you this food is delicious. I tried the special salad with watermelon, cantaloupe and cucumber (so refreshing), what’s even best is that they offer warm delicious bread with oil before your meal arrives. The lady that took my order was very gentle and sweet, they were a little busy but they did their best and i really enjoyed it. I will totally come back. :) Thanks
