Healthy desserts and delicious tea🍵🍰☕️
We chose to dine here on our drive through Vt because they had gluten free options and the menu looked pretty good. We arrived right after they opened and the server messed up the order person before us put in. They didn’t write it down, so when we got to the register the server was trying to remember what the person before us ordered. We waited a few minutes standing at the register until the server finally took our order. They were only open for a few minutes and they’re already acting scattered and overwhelmed.
We went and sat in the dining room and looked out the window while waiting for a pretty long time for something that I thought was a simple order. I got the Grains and Greens salad and a maple lemonade, and my husband ordered two slices of pizza and some cacao drink thing.
While we were waiting I went to use the bathroom and saw that the handsoap was an MLM product from doTerra. This is a multilevel marketing scheme that traps people into a highly predatory business that most people end up loosing money on. Plus they are selling oils that have all sorts of health claims and are unproven and in fact can be harmful if used incorrectly.
After seeing this I wanted to leave the restaurant but our food came out and we already paid, so we decided to stay. My salad was fine, and the greens seamed fresh, but the kale was extra bitter and soaked in lemon. My maple lemonade was really disappointing, probably one of the worst lemonades I’ve ever had. I didn’t finish it. My husband’s pizza was terrible. He said that the pizza was really bland and the daiya cheese was slimy. His drink never fully incorporated and mixing it didn’t help. He also couldn’t finish his food.
Also, my husband is indigenous and noticed the cultural appropriation of the restaurant’s decorations. I didn’t notice it right away, but started seeing it after he pointed out the first thing.
On our way out of the restaurant I saw more doTerra products being sold on the shelves lining the wall. What a awful experience, and a mistake to go there. I do not recommend this restaurant. The one redeeming quality was the view, and I attached a picture so you don’t have to go there to see it.

Stopped here for some gluten free food. My wife has Celiac Disease and has to be very careful where she eats. Superfresh was very helpful with the questions she had and we had a fantastic meal. The sandwiches are delicious and the fries are to die for. Highly recommend for a lunch stop when you're in town!

We were looking for a place to grab food for the road before the 5 hour trip home. We found this Cafe in town and it had something for everyone. Loved the Ruben. Great yummy selection of veggie friendly GF options

Nutritious and unique food served along the Whetstone Brook. I wish they were open more.

I love their special cocoa drinks and the entrees are reliably balanced, nutritious, and yummy. The view of the Whetstone Brook from the dining area is also really nice. This is a good place to get classic health food (with some "comfort" dishes, too), but with a twist that makes it interesting and tasty.

We were excited to try this organic restaurant. We spent $70.00 for two people. It lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The service and staff were very nice though!
Pretty dirty place. We were the first in the door and the tables were gritty and sticky. Bathroom is gross. The concept is perfectly achievable with the right execution. The $3 add-on was 1/8 cup scoop of hummus that was so obviously rancid. Pesto grilled cheese was regretted. Staff had a ticked off attitude toward everyone there, strongly implying issues with management.
I got the garbanzo frittata with two kinds of sauce and enjoyed the kale salad that came with it. My friend had the mushroom burger salad, and she thought it was delicious and very flavorful and that the burger was crispy and everything was very fresh. I look forward to trying another dish when I go there again soon! They are also participating with compassionate dining as a vegan friendly business in Brattleboro. See compassionatedining.com. Went back on 5/9/2025 and we had the fries for an appetizer - hot, seasoned well and crisp on the ouside served with 2 sauces that complimented the fries well. One of us had the Fiesta Bowl - yummy and filling! and the other person got the Ferment Bowl- they were out of the bean for the bowl and so subbed aioli black bean dish and either the beans or the kimchi were really garlicy which was a bit of a taste turn off for me. I welcome trying another dish when I go back! Updated from previous review on 2025-05-06
Amazing options for vegan and Gluten-free. Accommodations for food allergies easily made. Clean, friendly staff.
Definitely recommend.
What a treat! Healthy and thoughtful plates + baked goods. Fast, friendly service. I enjoyed the quesadilla and cake. Not a single bad bite could be found here!
