New owners of the former (Whetstone brewery) now North Chair/Whetstone brewery have added a taproom at 39 Frost and are making great beer . M-W 12-3 Th-Sun 12-6
Came from out of town on a Saturday just to visit this place. Google said they were open but they are definitely closed for renovations. Really disappointing as the only way you’d know is a cardboard sign on the front.
Really loved this place. Came from providence RI. GOOGLE says you're open ? no sign on the door. And the river market place is closed. What a disappointing trip. Please update your information
Great beer, nice food, amazing view. What more could you want? Vegetarian options available!
Open noon till late??It's 10 pm on a Friday and CLOSED
Nice and relaxing on the Connecticut river
It’s really unfortunate we called ahead to make sure this place was open, over 1.5 hours away. The message indicated the hours, with no indication they were temporarily closed. Please change your phone voicemail.
Visited from Massachusetts yesterday to watch the 2024 Solar Eclipse. We all got beers and apps and sat outside. Employees were pleasant, the beers were good and the apps were great. Especially the pretzel bites & parm fries!
Because you can't leave half stars this is a 3 and not a 3.5. I don't want to get my own refills or get up to order food from the bar. This place clearly has employees. Just have some of them be servers. All the employees were cheerful and helpful with getting our order placed. The food was fine. The chicken will definitely not get you sick as they make sure it's cooked to the point of being dry.Being on the water is nice but only frequenting Brattleboro during ski season means I will not be eating here again as there are other better options in the area.
This place is absolutely Awesome, highly recommend hitting up this place.

This place is horrible and filthy.
Always good food, good beer, and friendly staff. Plus a great location.
Absolutely adore this place.Went with my friends during ski jump weekend after we drank a ton of their beers at the event. Their pierogis are heavenly and we wanted to order 50 of those after the first bite. The staff was so friendly and made us laugh the whole time.Another plus is that it’s very close to any downtown restaurants so walking over is really convenient and means you can enjoy a few more beers! We’re already planning our trip next year and a stop here is absolutely on the itinerary.
excellent sours
Pro: the view is amazing and the beer is really good. The brewery has a nice decoration and setting. The restrooms were very clean. David (I don´t know his position or job) was very warm and caring. He compensate me for the bad moment that I´ve spent in the brewery.Cons: I waited 50 min until my order was delivered and when I complained with the response of the manager was very impolite and out of place. I´m not going to go into details, but I contacted David (who answered my previous review in google of this place) regarding this situation and confusion about what happened, and he solved the problem.Originally, I qualified the place with a lower score due to the manager misbehavior. However, I replaced the qualification because I think that we all might have a bad day, and make mistakes; what it matters is what we do with them and how we fix them. I found that the brewery really care about the costumer, despite that my original perspective was different based on a situation with one employee.
