I recently visited Minifactory in downtown Bristol and had the Animal Kingdom - crispy prosciutto, perfectly poached egg, sweet potato and cheddar on their house-made meusli bear bread with green sauce - and it was absolutely stellar. Every component was expertly prepared, and you could taste the quality and care in every bite, especially in that grain-free meusli bread made with sesame, almond, dried fruit and honey. What really sets Minifactory apart is their commitment to vegetable-forward cuisine using local ingredients, and it's clear they've built strong relationships with area farmers and producers. Beyond the exceptional food, this place is a true community hub - coffee shop, cafe, jam manufactory, and local grocery all in one - with generous hours throughout the week and a warm, unpretentious atmosphere. Whether you're a Bristol resident or passing through, Minifactory is an absolute must-visit that reminds you why supporting local businesses matters - five stars without hesitation!

I do not leave reviews often, but this place is worth several shoutouts. We had the savory yogurt (phenomenal) and the coconut pudding (sweet & fantastic). A lot of vermont restaurants tend to be generic - this place is not that. It’s very clear their food is made with mastery & a lot of love for what they do.

This place was an amazing rec from one of the servers from the Bobcat across the street. Boy are we glad we came here! The pastries were amazing, I loveddddd the cafe Vennois, and the Veg for President w/added bacon really hit the savory spot! I was able to sample a cardamom bun, lemon olive oil cake, cinnamon bun w/icing, and chocolate croissant. I couldn’t pick a favorite! Can’t wait to come back on our next trip up north!

The cappuccino was one of the better ones I had, better the big name coffee places like SB. The pastry was also fresh and tasty. Would go back again. If the staff reads this, I recommend removing the very confusing sign above the register as it wasn't followed anyway during the busy hour we were there.

It is a bright, beautiful space. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Their lattes are one of my absolute favorites. The biscuits are delightful and perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They have many local products and everything I’ve eaten there is “chefs kiss”. It is a bit expensive, but worth every penny.

I can't stop thinking about the elderflower lemon cordial I got there 2 months ago and wishing I was drinking it right now. Definitely stopping again next time I'm in Bristol!!
This cafe was recommended to us by a local while traveling through and we are so glad we went. The menu is very funky and untraditional but so superb. I recommend the rattatate and the jammy waffle— the food was exceptional, fresh and creative. We loved every bite. Excellent place to stop in for a late brunch/ lunch with a cute atmosphere and welcoming staff. Everyone was delightful and genuine. If you’re looking for cookie-cutter or classic, this isn’t for you, but if you want made in-house creative dining, you’ll love it.

This spot is quite cute and carries some wonderful local products inside, but sitting down to eat was certainly not pleasant. After placing our order and waiting for over 50 minutes, I went inside to check only to have every employee ignore me. They all seemed to not want to help or be friendly at all. After reminding them of my order, it apparently never went through and came out a couple minutes later. I got the only “ vegan ” option but it was covered in honey and lacked any flavor besides being overly sweet (and I have a sweet tooth so). Anyway for all my vegan friends I would pass. And if you’re looking for a friendly place to talk to local employees I’d also pass. But as the only cafe in town the drinks are yummy.

Absolutely superlative meal. The salad - so simple - one of the highlights of my trip! The gazpacho was a bowl of heaven with seeds and chopped tomatoes and cucumbers for texture. We had thick grilled toast doused in olive oil and a bread plate with pistachio puree and herbs - You want that. Just so good in every way. Had tea and coffee and bought jams and fruits to take home. Can't wait to come back. A bit sunny at 3 PM, room could use some window treatments. Service was a bit klunky, i.e. not bringing spoons with soup, or not removing plates. But small details compared to the wonderfulness that happened on our plates. Highly recommend.

We heard the food was amazing… the atmosphere was sweet and bustling, the menu- mouth-watering. The woman who sat us was lovely but everything beyond that was a total debacle. When we sat down we were not told we had to order at the counter, the line for take out was super long so after waiting for 10 minutes in that line, only then we realized on our own that there was another register for dine in. We got out of that line only to find out that register was cash only (and always was! No sign indicating it!) So we had to get back in the end of the long take out line (with three hungry kids waiting!) In the midst of ordering we were told there were no substitutions (couldn’t replace bacon for ham and only option was to order another $13 meal that might come with a side of bacon to get the $3 side of bacon- what?!?) So I ask to talk to the manager and while waiting for the surly faced manager (owner/chef?) to appear we were informed it would be a 50 minute wait for food!! When the woman in charge came out her energy and demeanor was sour and unapologetic. Highly recommend the sweet diner (Snap’s) down the street for a delish egg sandwich without the side of pretension. Ughhh! shared our story with locals who don’t even go in their for their lattes anymore because of the unwelcoming and inflexible vibes.

Slowest barista I have ever seen. Literally took 30 minutes to make 10 drinks. People were checking in and they did not care at all about the pace. Seven other staffers and no one was helping make the drinks.
