Hopping on a Thursday night. Good energy. Good service. Decent microbrew at excellent prices. Host was less than welcoming.A bit disappointed with the food. My wife's burger was dry. My Italian sausage over bean stew tasted great but was a very small portion especially considering the price is $18. It's 1 sausage, 1 slice of bread, and a single layer of the bean stew on the bottom. More of any one of those things might make it a dinner portion. As always, the Bobcat was wonderful. I'm always impressed with the creations they come up with. Tonight I enjoyed the local pork chop with Sandy's amazing Tree Heat Maple Syrup, an excellent potato salad, and corn with Old Bay butter. Having grown up in Northern Virginia and spending many weeks on the Chesapeake Bay this was definitely a touch of comfort food. The service was fantastic as always. The food, the beer, the prices, and the service were exceptional. I had the hot salad and it was so excellent. I’ll be thinking about it for a while! Definitely a spot to keep coming back to.
