Lauren catered our October wedding at Bliss Ridge in Moretown and did an absolutely amazing job. We wanted a fall-inspired menu and Lauren worked with us to put together exactly what we hoped for. The venue was a bit challenging compared to most since it does not have an on-site kitchen, but the food was so delicious and fresh, you never would have known it was all being cooked in a tent with rental equipment. All of our guests were raving about the food - from the passed apps, to the first course pasta, dinner entrees, and dessert - everything was amazing. Oh and she made late night mac n cheese which was literally the best I have ever had. Despite the challenges of the barn venue, Lauren's team was able to serve our plated meal ahead of schedule (with everyone's meals served hot! we have often been to weddings where the plated meals take so long to serve all of the tables, that we get luke warm food). Lauren was also very helpful during the planning process answering questions and helping us put together a realistic timeline so that our event stayed on time (and even ahead of schedule). Being able to serve your dinner on time plays such a large role in your whole reception, so picking a caterer who thinks about the logistics of this is so important. We couldn't be happier with Lauren and her team.
The Nomadic Chef is the best catering business in Vermont. From start to finish, Lauren, and her amazing staff, were attentive to every detail. They made our wedding in Vermont memorable, and tasty. Everyone still comments on how good the food was. I would not hesitate to recommend The Nomadic Chef for any of your catering needs.
