Aurora was our server and was amazing from recommendations of food/drinks to her smile and energy that lit up the cafe! Highly recommend the garlic herb chicken wings with tree heat maple on the side! The spinach salad with blackened salmon was so good! Cuban sandwich with fries, very good as well! We will be back for sure!!

I recently became vegetarian, and prior to that my favorite burger in VT was from the Bobcat Cafe.

Last night I ordered the Bibimbap with smoked tofu, and let me tell you. It was fantastic.

Vegetarian options are honestly everywhere, but what I’ve noticed is a distinct lack of attention to good vegetarian proteins.

This smoked tofu had great texture and flavor. I’m sure it could also be modified to make it a vegan dish.

From a new vegetarian it felt good to be able to get a good, balanced meal, that wasn’t a salad or “pasta primavera.”

My only critique is that I could have eaten two more pieces of that tofu! 🤣

If you find yourself in Bristol, and are vegetarian, this is a great place to stop!!

While the wait service was great and the café is adorable, the cooking staff needs to be revisited. We ordered medium burgers and were served NOT WELL DONE BUT BURNT burgers. The manager was receptive and adjusted our bill...very professional. Hopefully, owners will make positive changes so that future patrons may enjoy the best Bobcat burger possible!

Some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. We’d rate the burger 7/10. The edamame hummus was such a different appetizer and tasty! Service was lacking a little but understandable since it was busy. Tables were disgustingly sticky. Our drinks kept getting stuck. We almost split them trying to scrape them off the table.

The Bobcat Cafe is a much loved local pub in Bristol. I have been a customer since it opened over 20 years ago through many owners. The current ownership is trying to follow in the same footsteps as the successful stewardship of the last 16 years. The menu remains pretty much the same with a few changes. I quickly noticed the change in the quality and quantity of ingredients. Prices have gone up, which I understand. The fish tacos and burgers have been a mainstay for many regulars. On a recent visit I ordered the fish tacos again. They are now mostly cabbage slaw with a small slice of seasoned fish. The burgers were known as the best in town. They are considerably smaller with half the fries.
While the new ownership navigates cost cutting, we hope they consider what the locals have come to love and support over the years.

The food was not great. The kale salad was very bland. The blackened salmon lifted it a bit but there wasn't much flavor at all. My husband got the fish tacos and mushroom tart. The tart was rich and tasty but the fish tacos were also very bland. For the price we could have a much nicer meal at the Burlington Beer Company. For more flavor we should have gone to Cubbers and spent half the amount of money. However, the service was very good. The food came quickly, the wait staff was attentive and friendly.

Just needed a quick meal after skiing. Absolutely blown away by the bobcat. Friendly staff. Great vibe. DO NOT pass on the burger! Wish this place was closer to where I live

Best fries I've had in ages

Food was mediocre, at best. Though the dishes were supposed to be spicy, I found myself going to the frig. seeing which flavorful sauce would help it. We have been frequenting the Bobcat since around 2015. They handled Covid superbly. We have been trying to remain loyal, but we are done

I had the delicious Soy Braised Pork Belly Bibimbap.
Crispy Sesame Rice, Kimchi, Pickled Seaweed & Cukes, Gochujang, Local Scallions, Neilan’s Favorite Egg.
This was served in a cast iron pan, so it was nice and hot.
Great and fast service.
Nealon our waiter was awesome.
Thank you

Maitre d was very rude. We asked whether to seat ourselves or to wait. She asked whether we had a reservation (we said no) and said that she would be right back to us. There were empty tables & booths. After 10 minutes of my wife and I standing in the entrance, she kinda yelled "Hello! What do you want?" So, we went thru our original conversation. She said that she'd get back to me in a few minutes. I said that we'd already covered that, and to just tell me how long the wait was. She said 60 minutes. I asked why she didn't tell me that in the first place. She said, "I'm telling you that now." Might be a good place, but staff might be iffy.
