THE BEST chocolate croissants in Burlington, on par with the Parisien original, and a galaxy of art-worthy coffee and tea concoctions. The food and drink menus are actually vast, dependably wonderful, and served in a buzzy but cozy space. The baristas are awesome - - Lauren welcomed me when I moved here from Florida two years ago - - and although I've tried nearly every area cafe, Black Cap is my happiest place. Yes, it's pricey (as others have complained) but so worth it!
I practically live at this coffee shop! They have the most incredible coffee, pastries, and lunch options! I live for the vegan burrito. My roommate and come here all the time to study and the staff is so kind! Hands down my favorite place on church❤️❤️

I recently relocated to downtown Burlington and this cafe is one of my all time favorites. All their food is absolutely incredible, my favorite being their cannolis but you can't really go wrong. Their special drinks are always fun to keep an eye out for and their coffee is unique in the best way. Each employee is very kind and genuine which makes the experience feel homely and cozy.
