My husband and I went for the first time last Saturday. We showed up just after 8pm and even though we were the only ones there, the restaurant definitely wasn’t lacking in atmosphere - we felt like we were instantly transported to the bayou. Richard is a one-man show and the food was phenomenal. I’m still thinking about the pork cracklins and étouffée a week later. Looking forward to going back!
Another perfect meal. Six of us all had different dishes and covered most of the menu. It was all excellent. Big portions result in leftovers to go home with. It is amazing the the owner does everything himself and can create these dishes and make you feel so welcome. Reservations are key - with a one mas show he had to turn away customers even though there were only two parties in the restaurant. I love how he takes the time to open your wine bottles even though it is BYOB....
Quietly could be one of the best restaurants in BVT! Food is incredible, Richard is a great host and chef. Make sure to reserve as it is a one man show, only adds to the atmosphere! Very special, hope to be back soon.
