If you want quality food in a fun warm atmosphere Drifters is the place. Top five locally owned restaurants in Burlington. Not to be missed. And the in-house baked desserts are tops. S'mores cake- graham cracker layers, toasted marshmallow and chocolate ganache. So yummy

If I could afford to eat out everyday, my first choice would always be Drifters. The menu is small, and the food is incredible and never gets old. They have fantastic options for vegans and non-vegans alike- the seitan tacos and root vegetable fries are my favorite. They can make pretty much anything vegan and always have amazing, creative specials. On top of all that, Maddy, the hostess is one of the best people you will ever meet. Such a gem of the old north end, don't pass it up when eating in Burlington!!

The food and service was great, however, it took a while to get our food. If you are in a hurry, I would recommend keeping that in mind. Considering the tacos and flatbread were the same price, the flatbread was definitely more food for your money.

Incredible weekend vacation from Boston during COVID times. I mistakenly made a reservation for the day before I planned at another restaurant downtown and didn’t realize until we showed up. I called drifters last minute and they accommodated us outside. Maddy was so lovely and an excellent server, and the food here was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I’ve never felt safe enough to go out to dinner outside in Boston, and I felt completely safe here!

I've been meaning to write a review for Drifter's since the first meal I had from them. I'm finally getting around to it after I've had quite a few. After recently moving right down the street I had to give this place a try despite never having gone prior. Drifter's has blown me out of the water. Pretty much everything that they make delicious and fresh. I have tried almost everything on their menu at this point and haven't gotten one thing I was disappointed with. I love the home made feel of everything and the way the pickled items are sometimes switched up. On top of having easily some of the best food in Burlington, Andrew and Maddy are two of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Can't stop, won't stop going here, you guys are amazing!

I'm surprised I never came across Drifter's before given their eclectic menu (many of their offerings sport kimchi which is AWESOME). Be that as it may - we found this place on the 2020 pilgrimage to the great city of Burlington. I am guessing they would earn 6 stars absent the COVID restrictions. Outdoor seating was limited but comfortable. The waitress was incredibly personable. The drink menu was limited in number of options (likely due to COVID) but the bottle of cab we had was very reasonably priced and punched above its weight class by far based on the ratio of quality to price. The food offerings seemed awesome based on the menu and the reality stacked up and then some to the perception. The hummus plate was so stupidly good we got two. The pickled veggies with the hummus was a rarity and welcomed as such. The hummus was top notch. The naan for dipping the hummus was similarly terrific. We got asian tacos which exceeded expectations. The beer offerings were varied and were from strong breweries. I'm guessing that absent the COVID restrictions Drifters would be even better - and our experience was rather awesome. We dine out frequently and have traveled extensively - and this restaurant is definitely on the "must visit" for next years annual Burlington trip. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
