I got the chips/guac and 2 of their tacos (one frijoles and one camote) specifically with vegan cheese. It was fine! Nothing spectacular. The restaurant was cute and cozy and the staff was friendly/knowledgeable of vegan substitutions. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-31

The food here is exceptional — I felt like my stomach had been transported straight to Mexico! Our server, Alice, was truly top-tier, and the chef even brought out our taquitos personally, adding a warm and personable touch. If you’re looking for a taqueria with amazing flavors and plenty of good vibes, this is the place to be!

An adorable restaurant right by church street in Burlington. The food was delicious, the service was speedy and the prices were fair. I got the rice and bean bowl and my only complaint would be that it was a little too dry. It was so filling and I ended up taking half of it home to eat for dinner the next night. My girlfriend got the pork belly special burrito and said it was amazing. They also had the Nah-jito and had them flavor it with the seasonal pomegranate flavoring. We both loved that this mocktail had the bitterness and complexities of a real cocktail unlike other mocktails which just feel like juice and soda. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Extremely expensive. Got a takeout order and it was super small portion for a $20!!! Carnitas burrito. Very disappointed and was given no silverware or napkins on a takeout order

I'm a BHS student, and this is week 6 of my 🍴Student Eateries Series🍴

Today, it was a hard day of deciding what restaurant to eat for dinner. However, since I had some Mexican food for lunch, how about I have some Mexican food for dinner as well?

The atmosphere was very cool. The restaurant feels very alive, and chill, which I like. The Mexican music was also chill.

The service was in increduble! Waiters were very friendly, engages with every customer, and was calm to all. Also, the waiter asked me if I wanted change, which really shows the waiter's care for the customers. Muy Bueno!

The food was definitely the star of the show. YOU HAVE TO ORDER THE CHIPS AND SALSA! The salsa in this restaurant is top tier, supe fresh and herby! I also ordered a burrito with ground beef. The burrito gets messy easy, so that's when I used the chips to pick up meat and beans and eat! Chips x Burrito is such a good combo! The flavor of the salsa combined with the burrito was heavenly! I also added some hot sauce and pepper, so the flavor is PERFECT! The burrito was incredibly rich and tender, very satisfying to bite into! The meal was incredibly fullfilling.

Overall, this restaurant is perfect! Full of fulfilling, tender, and flavorful food, with excellent service. I would LIKE TO SEE Birria Tacos being added to this restaurant. It'll make this restaurant perfect.

Lovely Mexican restaurant that serves decent fresh food. We got nachos with queso and salsa as starter and a wet burrito and taco carnitas for main. The food tasted good and portions were really big. Would’t say it was the best Mexican that I ever had but we weren’t disappointed by any means.

It's like a 1960s train car diner. Clean and quaint, just what you need in a place that has such delicious authentic food!

Good atmosphere and decent and friendly service. The food was not good. The only thing crispy about the fish taco was the cabbage. The queso dip was very runny, and without individual appetizer plates we dripped it all over the table, like watery cheese. The chorizo was very salty. The chips were great! The server never asked us how the food was so there’s that. The restrooms need attention. We might be back for drinks but that’s about it.

Ok, so we’re from Texas where Mexican food is King, and I have to admit this place is the one of closest to good Mexican street food I’ve experienced in the Northeast. The staff are personable and engaging. Cross (Chef) visited our table to ensure our food exceeded our expectations, and if not, he was willing to make it right. No need to make it right because the food was hot, seasoned and delicious. Alice, our server, was on point and the hostess with the “mostest”. This is a very inviting and down to earth establishment with an eclectic vibe.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for mexican food after stopping in Burlington for our road trip. It’s super close to the parking garage and church street marketplace. They have good vegetarian options as I got the frijoles burrito and my gf got the enchiladas with refried beans. Not too pricey but the food quantity was amazing and so was the taste. Chips and guac were also good and they would refill on chips for free if you needed. If you’re stopping by in Burlington definitely check this place out.
