I think this is the best Indian food in Burlington. We order from here all of the time and it’s always consistently good.

I’ve eaten here almost fifty times in two years, and it is on the top of my list for masterful spice work and good prices. I love this place. Takeout and dine-in is 👌.

I had Chicken Tikka masala and the food was amazing. I had order that same dish at another place and it didn’t taste nothing like masala Elaichi😋

we've gotten takeout a number of times in the past but we most recently went for brunch on a Sunday. it was criminally empty, although picked up a bit after we arrived (noonish). a few vegetarian options (dal, saag paneer, and chana masala) and a couple chicken options- not a ton of variety but all the generally popular go-tos you'd expect. everything tasted great and naan was brought out fresh two minutes after anyone looked at it. the pakora was surprisingly and pleasingly crispy, especially for being served in hotel pans on a buffet line. the chai was particularly excellent. price was very reasonable as well and as we waddled out we definitely discussed attending for brunch regularly in the future!

Had a very bad experience at masala elahchi restaurant in Burlington Vt
The server Sonu took 20 min to approach the table
Forgot my coke until called while there was just 1 table occupied .
Ordered a chicken tandoori which was stale
After a bite felt raw and smelly in the centre
The kabab felt like just taken out of the freezer warmed n served .
The lamb masala was better than the starter
When told to the Server to let the chef (Sharma) know that the food is frozen from a long time and dont serve the same to another guest
The reply from the Chef Sharma was this how we serve it .
That really disappointing especially when you’re expecting freshly cooked food n the chef’s response was dismissive.
I Hope they have a food inspection and the health department look over it .
On my way home I already was getting some weird bumps in my stomach glad I dint eat the whole thing n sent it back.
I still had to pay for everything even tho I sent it back
I gave a 20% tip to the server and told them I won’t recommend their place or even come there for an unhygienic experience.

Very unclean and unkempt. Visited on 25th Dec'24 for lunch, experience wasn't pleasant at all.
The food was below average, the naan was not naan but prison hard bread, shrimp biryani was tastless, pakoras were doughy and the host/chef wasn't open to feedback.
Wish we hadn't gone there and ruined our Christmas lunch!

To all the folks reading this..please skip this place...u'll thank me later.

Visited the restaurant for christmas lunch, as it was the only restaurant open.. the floors weren't clean, food all over the floor under the tables (extremely unhygenic).. the rotis were hard and burnt, the chicken tikka was tasteless and full of artificial colour..the prawn biryani..bland, tasteless prawns.. bad experience all together..
Wishing there were other restaurants open, definitely not going back!!!

We ordered Take-out. The Naan was burned and the only pieces of vegetable in the Pacora that could be seen was onion. We expected a soft and buttery naan and chunks of vegetable dipped in graham flour and fried.

Went there before a UVM theater show. Plenty of easy parking across the street. The food was plentiful and good. They will adjust spiciness to your liking, though it still was a bit much for me. Service was very good.
