Honey Road is our absolute favourite restaurant in Burlington. The wings, stuffed dates and cabbage, as well as the whipped goat cheese / chili crisp dip, is unreal. Strong recommend!

I used to love Honey Road and have eaten there numerous times since it opened.
But last night's experience was very disappointing. I brought a friend visiting from out of town. We had a 7:30 reservation, but once we were seated, we were entirely ignored by the wait staff for 25 minutes, and had to flag someone down to ask if we might have service. No-one had even brought us water.
Then we ordered, including the lamb simit. The food was brought, all except for the lamb simit, which we were particularly looking forward to. At one point, I asked our server if the lamb was coming. She assured me it was.
About 10 minutes later, she returned to tell us that she'd made a mistake and never put in the order for the lamb. She also informed us that they were now out of the lamb, and encouraged us to order something else. By now, we were basically finished with our meal, so we declined.
It was disappointingly poor service, and while it didn't entirely *ruin* our meal, it didn't leave us with a happy or fulfilled sense in having dined at the restaurant.

Honey Road is a standout on Church Street. Luke and Sarah were incredibly hospitable—we felt genuinely warm and welcomed from the moment we sat down. We were visiting family for the Christmas holiday from NYC, and this was the perfect spot for a cozy, memorable dinner.
The Mediterranean food was excellent, and as someone with allergies, I really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful the staff was. Reservations are strongly encouraged (for good reason), but we were happily seated at the bar, which had a great vibe.
We ordered the olives, dolma, smashed potatoes, and harissa chicken wings—every dish was flavorful and well-executed. For two people, ordering 2–4 mezze items is the sweet spot.
Honestly, I’d go back just for Luke and Sarah, but paired with the amazing food, the whole experience was delightful. Chic, warm atmosphere, spotless bathrooms, and consistently great energy throughout the space. Highly recommend.

The food was fine but I didn’t feel taken care of for a birthday. I noted it was my birthday on the reservation and I was seated at a rather lousy spot after being assured on the phone it’d be cute. Our waitress also didn’t really check on us to see if our food was good or we were wanting for anything. Bummer dinner.

Went tonight for the first time and absolutely loved it. My partner was unsure while looking at the menu, but every dish that came out was amazing. Highlights were the whipped goat cheese dip & pita, the lamb simit bun, and the chicken schnitzel. The lamb was extremely flavorful and the schnitzel was the moistest chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. I'm hoping the schnitzel can move from just being a Special to being on the menu full-time. The espresso martini was great too! Will definitely be back in the future.
