I’ve had many different dishes here, all have been excellent. My favorites are the hot garlic chicken (appetizer) and the paneer tika masala (main). The roti is very good. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and very convenient location with surrounding attractions.

We were hungry, and every restaurant we looked at had an hour a half to two hour wait list (first time visiting Burlington). We walked by Liguras, and it was not super busy. We decided to give it a try.It was a great choice. The food was outstanding! The service was great. As we sat waiting for our dinner (only a few minutes), the place filled up. All the other food we saw brought out looked really good.We were glad we made the choice to have dinner here. It is one of the best Indian food restaurants we have been to in a long time.We will be back.

First time visiting Vermont and I was craving some Indian food. The food from this restaurant satisfied my cravings!! I appreciate the staff asking if I wanted “Indian spicy or American spicy” (of course I said Indian spicy cuz I’m from India).I got the chicken vindaloo, chicken biryani and chicken steamed momo. The portions were good and the spicy level and flavors were perfect. Everything was just amazing and I will be thinking about the meal.

Probably the best place for Indian/Nepali cuisine in vermont. I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants in many cities and this is really your safe bet in Burlington. The food is good (tried the lamb korma, butter chicken, chicken momo dumplings and the Naan bread) all of it was generous, served with basmati rice and made my stomach full. All of my friends had a great time and were satisfied. In fact, I converted a friend who never liked Indian food before and yet rated this a 9/10 and the best Indian food he ever had.Service is excellent, the owner called me "boss" many times which I like and find respectful.I'll go back to that very convenient spot on church street when I want Indian food.Btw don't be afraid of the spices, it's very mild even at "medium".

My husband and I decided to go and eat at this establishment. Which landed him in the hospital a few hours later with food poisoning. Mind you this would be the first meal he had eaten that day. We went to the emergency room because he was EXTREMELY dehydrated from relieving himself for multiple hours. Now we have to wait for some tests to be done because there might be an issue with his liver because of the quality of food or what it was in.

Came in around 1pm on a weekend and it was moderately busy, the prices are incredibly reasonable. We ordered one curry & one Chana masala. We asked for “American hot” which was reasonably spicy and incredibly tasty. The server was really kind and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

LOVE their food. It's a highlight of our trip to Burlington every time. There's something for everyone, including vegan options. And we like watching the Bollywood style movie previews on their TV.Vegetarian options: Excellent chana masalaDietary restrictions: There are several vegan options, including the best chana masala we've ever had.

Best Indian/nepali in town. Thali platter is excellent if you’re not sure what you like. Amazing veggie option, meat is very high quality, and the service is great. Top appetizers are hot garlic chicken, cauliflower 65, samosas, and dumplings. Tandoori chicken is a real crowd pleaser!

Incredible food, 100% recommend. We got the paratha, which was perfectly crispy, light and fluffy. For an appetizer, we got the fried pork momos, which are Nepalese dumplings. It came with this wonderful sauce that I would highly recommend. We got the samosas, which were a great classic and comes with 2. We got the chicken saag, Chana masala as entrees which were excellent.

Loved everything we had. The chicken thali was so good, with 2 versions of chicken. Biryani was well spiced, as were all the dishes we ordered. Will up the heat next time since medium is mild for us!Will need to explore as this is one of the best restaurants for food flavor I've had in the area. Not a fancy place but perfectly acceptable. Service was surprisingly quick. This place could last a long time if they keep this up!
