Leunig's Petit Bijou

I have been eating at Leunigs regularly since it opened and I had my first disappointing meal. I ordered the coconut salmon and it had too many spices for me to enjoy the flavor of the salmon.🍣

I always enjoy my time at Leunigs. I usually sit at the bar but this time at a table with a friend. Cristal was an attentive server and bartender, Matt came over to say hello as it had been quite awhile since I'd been there. One of my favorite places.

Our server, Morgan, was amazing and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend the mussels in coconut curry sauce and Moroccan octopus. Everything was amazing!

My wife and I had dinner before a show at the Flynn. The atmosphere, food, and service were all great!

Food was AMAZING. Server was wonderful. Music was WAY too loud at first, but server took care of it.

Top ten worst experiences dining I ever had. Started great. Prompt service, drinks came fast. We ordered and the meals came before the appetizers. Then one appetizer came and by the time the other one came mine was cold. Water person was sweating so bad sweat dripped in my water. We then waited an hour before the meals came. Medium Steak was raw in the middle. I received a meal I didn’t order. Wait person never checked on our meals. I ate two bites of the meal I didn’t order and it was terrible. I cleared our own plates and brought them to the bar, because I was tired of waiting for staff to do it. She chucked my hardly eaten meal. Didn’t even get a sorry or any comp. They were surprised I was upset. Wine was good though. Got Some pizza down the street. There are so many good restaurants in Burlington. Luenigs is not one of them anymore.

Disappointment is an understatement for our dinner with friends while visiting Burlington. Food was mediocre & the service was less than mediocre. Our server would come to the table, ask if we needed anything or how things were & then leave before we had s chance to answer. We noted he did this with almost every table he had. Just going thru the motions of being a server is not enough to be a "good" server. We would definitely not go back.

Leunigs never fails to serve a delicious meal with efficient and pleasant servers. Ambiance in downtown Burlington was very pleasant

Service was slow. My boyfriend tried to order a drink from our waitress just to be told to order it next time she came back (assume it was because she wanted to enter our dinner into the system first) but then she never came back until right before our food was delivered. We both ordered drinks then and then those drinks never showed up until after we finished eating and honestly didn't even want them anymore. Never even came to check how our meal was.

The best restaurant in Burlington! Food and service is exceptional. Wine selection is great too. I go there at least 10 times a year.

Food was okay but the dinner meal was a hit for the price point. Poutine is huge; a half order easily feeds two. Otherwise, will definitely give it another try!

We had a 5:30 PM reservation on a Saturday night for four. We were actually seated about 5-10 minutes early at an outside table (our preference) with everyone enjoying their selected entrees. The waitress was excellent...personable with detailed information about the daily and seasonal specials while providing timely service and ensuring patron satisfaction. All-in-all a very enjoyable evening with tasty food.

We made a reservation which was clearly not needed. We set inside expecting my better service. Our waitress promised us three separate times that our food was out soon. Our entrees took 45 minutes from when they removed our appetizers till we got our main courses. Other tables came and left and we waited having ordered straight off the menu. Our waitress never came to us again. We had to ask the bartender for the bill so we could leave. We could never order more wine or dessert because she never came again. In spite of this we still left her a tip but we honestly should not have. No manager ever came to talk to us about our food taking so long. No one offered any explanation nor any accommodation and as I said we had to ask the bartender to get our bill. He came to us and gave us our bill and tabbed us out as our waitress chatted with a customer dining alone who came after us and was already done eating and our waiting was so packing up this customers food table side.

The cookies were not fresh. Coffee was okay.
