Vibes are on point. Walking in, the music is smooth and warm. Sevice was unfathomably friendly, Sarah was phenomenal. Her recommendations were on point, but I'm uncertain if that's just because all the food and drink here are so good, or she has great taste; probably both. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny and then some. Wouldn't have changed a single thing.

Colleen and the entire team at Paradiso create an outstanding experience. From the impeccable vibes set by the vinyls, the rotation of art pieces they bring in, to the amazing drinks and dishes, I can’t recommend this spot highly enough!

First time in Vermont ever, and was blown away by the caliber of this particular establishment. Opted for a bunch of smaller plates to try as much as possible: the grenki, savory carrot pudding, allium tart, the float me to the moon, and the crème brûlée. The first four were flawless. Each had one ingredient I’d previously thought I hated, yet the taste of each was exceptional. The crème was good but couldn’t help feeling that the custard texture was a bit chunky. There were also numerous drinks on the menu that appealed, but was very pleased with my two choices. The deliciously herbal Proud Mary and the Picture of Nectar (bravo for using the local wolfpeach as a base).I would be remiss if I didn’t note my fantastic guide for this culinary journey while sitting at the bar, Laura. She knew the in’s and out’s of every ingredient and was the perfect mix of knowledgeable/approachable. She’s got a bright future in this industry. Thank you, Laura!

A visit to Paradiso hits uniquely every time. Often a dinner is strikingly different than the last, but the general curiosity in their dishes and the great, rotating music is what I have come to expect. You just kind of feel cool here. I would love to be able to dance here, and dinner mates have agreed.

This restaurant has modern-day-speak-easy vibes. The decor is restrained letting, the music be the focus. There was a person spinning records; hypnotic mix. Seating is comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. They know and love the food and drinks, which is helpful. Now to the food. It is elevated. The Head Chef clearly has mastered his craft, and knows how to make the flavors sing fabulous songs. I had the monk fish, which romanced me. The sauce was perfection, I requested a spoon so I could enjoy all of it. My husband had the venison. It was tender and delicious. He stopped and paused after each bite. We capped it off with a blueberry-dessert. I absolutely loved it. We left delightfully surprised by this cooking.Drinks were good. I got Purple Rain and my husband had Bear Beer. The prices are reasonable for the level of cooking. This is now on my top restaurant list, next to Hen of the Woods.Great date night for us.

Dinner for 4 came to a grand total of $380. Small portions and high prices. I'm looking to call a restaurant my "go-to" and I would love this one to be it.... but the prices, the style of food and cost of food will keep me searching. I'm not a fan of these menus made up of exclusively offbeat, unconventional selections. How about SOME offbeat and some standard?! The place is beautifully designed, even the bathrooms.

The food is great. The atmosphere is fun. And I think the servers try hard. But the wait for our food was unbelievable. 3 hours for dinner? And we didn’t have time for dessert. Way too much time between courses.

Very cool and intimate setting. You can definitely miss it if you are not looking. I am a bigger guy so I love food. The menu was small, but very unique. The food was delicious, but the portions are very small, atleast for me, especially for the price. Shareable plates that left me a little hungry, but were absolutely amazing. Very cool music, super cool setting inside, service was great.

Everything was exceptional & perfectly balancedWe liked the simplified clean menu & in the reasonable priced wine listWe started with deviled eggs & grenki, then had marinated oysters, cabbage dumplings, coal fired oyster mushrooms, chicken heart ragu and a sourdough pull apart roll before we completed the experience with some delicious ice scoopsThe seasoning, presentation & taste were out of this worldWe loved to get new plates & silverware for every course, which for a small plate restaurant is very importantThe staff was very attentive, friendly & knowledgeable, not at least pushyWe felt welcomed the moment we walked through the Speak Easy like entrance doorThe music was loud but not at all bothersome & actually pleasant to listen toWe are definitely coming back, one of the best dinners we had in a while

What a discovery. This would not be out of place exactly as it is in any large cosmopolitan city - only the service here was likely much friendlier than it might have been in a big city. THis would actually be the envy of many places which try to match stunning atmosphere with absolutely top-notch food with the best retro analogue sound equipment with a flawless wine and cocktail selection, etc. This just blew us away. One dish after another came out as jaw-droppingly beautiful as it was tasty and creatively prepared. Where so many fancy restaurants overdo adding unusual ingredients to make a posh sounding but underwhelming dish, here every ingredient plays a vital role.A DJ spins vinyl on 1960s furniture-sized speakers, loud enough to make it feel like a lounge but quiet enough to comfortably hear each other talk. The ambiance reflects some Japanese minimalism and natural textures as well as semi retro furniture. The lighting is so exquisite it adds to a kind of vortex feel - one has little sense of time passing in such a pleasant cocoon. It manages to feel at once like a hidden gem, a speakeasy of sorts, and a top-tier fine dining experience.Bravo!

While I have a theoretical issue with the hyper-local menu standards they do a great job within their self imposed limitations. This place is literally a hidden gem.Kid-friendliness: Not sure it is the best place to bring young ones other than those with an adventurous palette
