Between two people we shared the beef carpaccio, a small salad, and the funghi papardelle. All were good! The waitresses were attentive and the decor was grand with high ceilings.
Our first visit to Burlington and we picked this restaurant based on other reviews. The atmosphere/ vibe of Pascolo Ristorante matches Church Street, the service was excellent as was the food. We had gnocchi and shared a salad.
Hand made pizza - So good!
We had an amazing client dinner here on Tuesday night. Zoe was an amazing server, and took great care of us. She recommended wines and entrees with expertise. The interior decor is absolutely gorgeous, and such a nice place to bring clients.
For appetizers we tried the insalata caprese, garlic parmesan bread, and castelvetrano olives. These are the first olives I have ever tried and liked. We did not get the fried ones, we tried the ones with olive oil, sea salt.
For main entrees we got a variety of dishes including chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, the gnocchi, and the brosato de manzo. Everything was cooked perfectly with delicious sauces, and the creamy polenta was amazing!
Pascolo ristorante came highly recommended to us, and I can see why. Thank you for an amazing meal!
It was a big disappointment, it was my daughter’s 20th birthday. The service was very bad our waiter was so occupied on this table of 12 and totally focused on them the whole time we were there. My family of 8 was not attended with professionalism or respect. He totally disregarded my family needs, forgot about our needs. The eggplant was so unexpectedly gross and burnt, no flavor no sauce very bland and unflavored. Cold and dry on top of it all. The 3 orders of chicken parmigiana were overcooked and the knife couldn’t cut through that cutlet. Again unexpectedly burnt to the crisp and not tender at all, lacking flavor and elegancy a total disaster. The 2 orders of Pappardella Funghi was extremely oily and the pasta was hard and very salty. Not to mention the 2 Margherita pizza were all together the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life it should not be served at all is garbage. Our appetizer Fried calamari was salty and under cooked not crispy and soggy. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. The place is so beautiful but the service and food really disappoint.
Garlic bread and marinara were great, and Caesar salad was excellent (add some grilled chicken!). Rest of the table enjoyed their pasta. Service was top notch. Can't wait to come back!
Had a great meal
Good Caprese salad but more cheeses than tomato so the portions were off. Not traditional because there was no fresh basil leaves instead it’s served with a pesto which was really good. Everyone at the bar was offered and given a complementary olive, chip, cracker trio except us. We were the only black people. I’m just saying. The calamari is perfectly prepared. The sauces served with it are unremarkable. This place makes the pasta in-house so it’s fresh and delish. The Bolognese was fantastic with the pappardelle, the frutti di mare is fresh and tasty but ignore the description that says lemon garlic sauce. It’s actually a pomodoro sauce. The al dente broccolini is flavorful and a good complement to the pasta. The Parmesan bread is fantastic but we kinda felt forced to order it because this is an Italian place that doesn’t give you Italian bread. Everything is à la cart and the wine list is slim. All and all, I’d go for the fresh made in-house pasta. If you are white, you’ll have a super experience. If not, you already know.
We were told by the “hostess” upon checking in for our 6:30 reservation that we “needed to understand” that there was another reservation for our table at 8:15. Basically we were being told that we needed to keep track of the time or they would ask us to leave. Isn’t this their responsibility? To serve us on time?
I’ve never, ever, been informed of this sort of thing at any upscale restaurant. It was classless, rude and frankly not anything I would expect from the Farmhouse Group.
Bring an appetite! The food is rich and delicious. Don't miss out on the homemade pasta and fried olives!

We had a great dinner here! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was really cool, and the food was delicious. The stuffed olive appetizer was really fun and different, and the pappardelle with mushrooms was TO DIE FOR. I also appreciated that they can make almost every drink on the cocktail menu without alcohol. Cant wait to go back when we return to Burlington.

The food was fantastic as was the service. Our wait time wasn't to long for a table. We ordered a drink at the bar as we waited for a table and our table was ready before getting both of our drinks. The calamari was a really good appetizer along with the fried mozzarella. I had chicken parm and my date enjoyed the eggplant parm as our meal.

The Gnocchi’s were very good, the meetballs too but the calamari were not the best. The service was great and the fact that they do their own pasta makes this place great. I would recommend to go for a pasta diner.

We visited Pascolo during our travels to celebrate our engagement; it was an excellent choice. All of the staff were attentive and friendly, congratulating us and giving us an excellent table. Our food was delicious with substantial portions.
Genuinely could not praise the restaurant more - we will definitely return next time we visit Vermont.

A nice place in the Church Street area with good food and service. I was happily surprised to see meaty Olive Ascolane, called Fried Olives on the menu ?
