My husband and I went for lunch on a Sunday, and I could understand the wait for a table. They were very busy. The problem REALLY began once we were seated. Coffee was ordered by one oerson and delivered WITH a refill, but no drink order for the other person....as a matter of fact...after the coffee...no NOTHING for snyone. We left...offered to pay foy for the coffee...and will NEVER return.. even if they were staying open FOREVER! Don't go!

Most excellent breakfast possibly ever! Nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff, interesting and unique menu, many blackboard specials. Delicious dishes with large portions. Well worth the 35 minute wait at 8:20am. Nobody left unsatisfied!

DELICIOUS brunch, but be prepared to wait around an hour or two before having a table because it is always crowdedThe Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Verdes and the buttermilk pancake were very good plates and everything tasted fresh. The service was quick, the food is affordable and the staff is lovely. If you are in the Burlington area, definitely check out Penny Cluse for brunch!

The food and the service was excellent. There was a bit of a wait but they seemed very organized and got us seated before our scheduled time. Nice casual service. Did not feel rushed. Good menu selection. Everything was excellent. One of the people in our party was vegetarian and he had many things to choose from. I had the taco salad which promised to be fiery and it was indeed and quite delicious.

We had a short wait for a table but well worth it! Lovely restaurant, which was amenable to a leisurely late breakfast ! Staff very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was just wonderful and good portion sizes too! Thank you !

Trip advisor said you were “open” but you were NOT open. Very disappointing as we won’t be back to Burlington anytime soon. good thing we paid to park before walking to your closed door. ??

Good brunch place in Burlington recommended by our Airbnb host.We really liked the pancakes (we reordered), the savory dishes were good but we were a tad disappointed. If you're into huevos rancheros you'll be happy here, they have a few variations of the dish. They have full liquor license and serve great cocktails for a boozy brunch.

Friendly spot, inventive breakfast menu. Clearly lots of regulars. Fairly large menu with some unusual additions. Go early or expect to wait.

In a very unassuming location of downtown Burlington, you'll find this charming cafe/diner with so many nice things going for it! Happy I visited, considering I initially went in just to use their washroom! Pros: Excellent and fast service; what I really liked was the fact that they were so willing to strike up a conversation if in the mood (e.g. what to see in Burlington, how's it going, menu recommendations, etc.) Good menu & food; I recommend the Cubano sandwich which comes with both ham and roasted pork. My only 'minor' complaint would be that's it's way too big for one person, unless you're exceptionally hungry. I would definitely try their coffee and desserts the next time in town Cons: None that I can think of.

Fabulous! Creative brunch and lunch options, and everything is perfection. We had the “Rock and Bowl” (unique, like an avocado toast over rice and spinach), “Basic Breakfast” (three of us had this, all customized). Biscuits are excellent. Friendly and helpful service!! Amazing value.

Made it just in time on aug1 before they have a short store break from aug2-11. We arrived a little before 9am and the store was packed! There were no available tables and were told to check back in 15mins. True to their word, they had a table left for us when we returned 15mins later. Service staff were friendly and helpful with everything that we needed. Food options were aplenty. Coffee from the jar did not really suit my palate though. I did not get through more than 2-3 mouthfuls of it.The plain pancake taken with butter and maple syrup was a great choice. I liked my griddled egg and cheese sandwich with sourdough bread. The sourdough was really... sour. The potato salad from my friend's portion of, i am not sure what was great. She agreed so too. I could have more of that! A bustling little store. Loved the vibes. Will be back on my next visit to Vermont!

Sad that I only had the time and appetite to try a couple things… everything looked and smelled so good! My banana bread served warm with honey walnut cream cheese was a sweet ending to the filling rock and bowl; eggs over coconut rice with spinach and pickled veggies. While the bowl could have used a little more zing it was still very good and prices were not too bad.

I’m in town on business and went here on the recommendation of a coworker. SO GOOD!!! Everything was amazing. Super friendly service and delicious food. I couldn’t decide between items and my server made the absolute perfect suggestion. Flavors were on point! I can’t wait to go back to this really perfect breakfast spot!

I believe this is our favorite restaurant in Burlington! And it’s our favorite breakfast restaurant in all of New England!!! Been here at least 25 times and never a bad meal. Always consistent!!! On this occasion, I ordered the side Chili Relleno and the avocado toast with salmon and tomato! My wife ordered the small bucket of spuds and coffee cake! So delicious! Our other favorites on the menu are; cucumber salad and the Orzo salad!!!! So delicious! Sometimes there’s a wait! It’s worth the wait!!!!

Best breakfast of the trip! Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Many choices but you can’t go wrong with a bucket of potatoes
