Our server Emily was very kind and helpful. The big ceaser with grilled chicken was super good and tasteful. The smoke house burger was very dry and didn’t have any good flavor to it.

The vibe on New Years Eve 2025 was very energetic. They had a live band and the whole bar shut down right before 7pm and they gave everyone in the place black velvet shots which was pretty cool. The food was delicious. We got the burgers and truffle fries which were top notch.
Local favorite bar/eatery on Church Street in Burlington. Great beer selection but I always end up getting Guinness on tap.

We had great food and service. The music and chatter wasn't too loud. We really enjoyed our meal (Dubliner burger and beef stew with maple bacon Brussels and Chips and Curry as appetizers).
Our server was amazing. The pub was very nice. Great atmosphere. Two people got the same dish and said it was ok. I had the grilled cheese with apple it was delicious.

Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. Used to love this place, have frequented it many times- even had our rehearsal dinner here! I am not sure if we just had bad luck, however, the service was nearly non existent- I think we interacted with our waitress to place our order and pay our bill. There were zero interactions in the 50 plus minutes we waited for French fries and Mac and cheese (while watching other tables came after us and leave long before us). Can’t blame the waitstaff for a kitchens shortfall, but we were never given any update whatsoever, never had drinks refreshed-nothing. When our food eventually came, it was mediocre at best and outrageously priced for what the portions are ($40 plus for what is pictured here). We try to support any local spot on church st and keep things within the community but I would think twice (or three times) before ever coming back here.

Nice place. I told the waiter that I was gluten free, and ordered my burger with a gluten free bun and salad, but it came out with a regular bun. I asked them to change it, but they just put the same patty on the GF bun - I explained that it had to be remade to avoid cross contamination, and they rushed the order for me.
Overall, they remade it properly, but definitely be aware just in case.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service from server and manager. My wife and I ordered the poutine and a hamburger to share with a side of Mac and cheese as the menu clearly states to pick a side of choice. But when the bill came out, we were charged seven dollars for the mac & cheese side we chose. We asked the server about this. He said this is how they always do it. He asked if we wanted him to bring us a menu to check it. Which we did after reviewing the menu for a second time under burgers and sandwiches it says to choose a side of choice not that there was a limitation of sides. As stated in the pictures, I have attached to this review. It does not say we would’ve been charged extra of any amount based on our choice of side and when we asked for the manager to come out and explain why they would not take off the seven dollar charge the server brought out a 20% off coupon for our next visit when we continue to ask for a manager, the server said the manager Ava said they would only take four dollars off of the seven that was charged instead of arguing. We finally go ahead and pay and then realize the 20% off card that they left was taken off the table from us. It’s not like we were going to be able to go back because we are from Texas here on our honeymoon.

Typical pub fare...with very large portions. Good value for money. Only complaint was that our cheddar fritters were a bit overdone and slightly burned....but they were tasty with an extra crunch!

The food wasn't great for the price. The fish and chips was all batter, very minimal fish. The kids pasta was overcooked with zero flavor. The salad was wilted. They were out of meat for the meat and cheese plate.
Buffalo chicken nuggets were excellent. Beef stew was cold inside the beef but potatoes on the bottom were hot. Cottage pie was good.
Great food, fun atmosphere, cool decor
A great Irish pub! The fried cheese balls were a special treat.

I ordered the steak frites and what came out looked like a slab of steak just dropped on top of french fries. I was apparently supposed to cut the steak on a bed of fries, which made no sense. When I finally managed to cut into it, at least half of it was fat, a huge strip around the edge and even more running through the middle. The small parts that were actually edible were flavorless and tough. I took two bites and couldn’t eat it.
I’ve never sent food back in my life. I’ve worked in restaurants and know how that feels, but this was inedible. When the bill came, the full price was still on the check. My friend asked if they could do anything, and the server said she’d talk to the manager. The manager offered only 20% off. That’s completely unacceptable. In every restaurant I’ve ever worked in even basic chains, you would never charge someone for a meal they couldn’t eat. They didn’t offer a replacement or even a comped dessert (which I would have declined, but it’s the principle).
Honestly, I should’ve walked out the moment I saw the bathroom. It looked like a crime scene meets gas station horror movie. Graffiti everywhere, dirty gloves perched on the changing table like a warning sign, one stall out of order, one missing a toilet entirely (??), and one with a toilet paper dispenser hanging on by a single screw. I actually texted my friend to come find me if I didn’t reappear in two minutes.
Between the horrifying bathroom, the awful food, and the lack of basic customer service, I’ll never go back to RiRa’s.
