I was glad to see another place with GF options but was sadly disappointed by mediocre food and mediocre drinks (although these were half off so can’t complain too much). We had the pacific rim salad which was the best part of the meal, along with the mango tuna tartare, the black bean burger and the steak sandwich both with gluten free buns. Unfortunately, the tartare, the black bean burger and the steak sandwich were all incredibly bland. The steak was dry and tough. The fries were great though. The service was okay. We ordered sparking water and the server brought it to the table and walked away without pouring. That may be nitpicky of me but I’ve worked in hospitality for years and couldn’t imagine not pouring for my guests. We also had trouble making additional drink orders so ended up just wrapping up. If you’re pressed for gluten free or vegan/vegetarian options maybe check it out. The ambiance was cute and I appreciate that the menu was clearly marked. There were also a lot of people there so maybe it was an off night. That said, after having an amazing meal elsewhere the night prior I wouldn’t come back.

This is a great low-key spot with good food options. Outdoor seating is a bonus and the service/staff was very friendly and attentive.

Tasty food and good service. There's ample seating available for dining-in, our server Olivia did a great job at handling our orders in a timely manner. There's a broad assortment of options to suit all tastes and dietary preferences - the beet & arugula salad was delicious, along with the ahi tuna and pasta dishes. Overall, I'd recommend this spot for an upscale meal in Burlington!

I don’t do reviews often - probably only once a year. But just had to do one for this gorgeous little restaurant. It’s so cosy and beautiful- truly immaculate vibes. And the food is delicious! And the staff were so nice. I cannot recommend enough

My husband and I had a magical romantic evening here.

The next morning, we walked all around church street looking for a nice brunch place for about 45 minutes before deciding just to head back to the Daily Planet lol. We sat in the back with the slanted windows and had the most lovely lunch together in the dappled light. I would give them 6 starts if I could!

Food was tasty and locally sourced. I had the pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes annd roasted broccoli which I enjoyed. Portions were generous. Our server was very pleasant. Cocktail was meh.

The French fries were mostly overcooked. The steak sandwich seems to be mostly cheese sandwich with hint of steak.

Obsessed. I would suggest a specific menu item, but they’re all too good to rank. And shoutout to my girl Emma for the outstanding service 👏👏👏 she’s amazing ✨

The Daily Planet has been a Burlington staple for years. Tucked around the corner from church street it feels like you have found a beautiful secret spot! Neil brings creatively to the menu, always serving up an interesting and flavor packed dish. Rachel fills the front of house with love and care, as much as the beautiful solarium fills it with light! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I love that they are on delivery apps as well, so we can enjoy an amazing meal from the couch!
