Any place that has a shuffle board table is worth a stop. The tap selection is just gravy baby.

Frat house atmosphere, boring beer selection

We came here while visiting Burlington because I wanted to play some games and have a few drinks. They have shuffle, metal darts and the ring/hook game. First off the place is really grungy looking, you can tell they haven't deep cleaned in a long time. They use the shuffle table for storage with speakers and bins of cords shoved under it. The drinks are overpriced, $9 for a single Tito's and club. We paid the same price at our fancy dinner restaurant. They need to adjust their prices to reflect the atmosphere.

This is no longer the growler garage, and that would be fine if it was simply the name that changed or if there was some sort of investment when the business changed, sadly that is not the case. What used to be 20-24 beers on tap is less than ten. The cases for to go beer gone, the dart boards in disrepair, country music blasting, the light over the fire place constantly flickering... sad. We've gone here multiple times over the past two years and have recommended it multiple times to friends passing through the area... that won't be the case anymore. If you're the country bar that's all good but why not commit to that entirely. This place no longer has any identity and will likely not survive long. Case in point, it's St. Patties weekend, there is a large stage in "the garage" and yet no live music...

Weird vibe, overpriced considering the other options literally within walking distance, and it's truly bizarre for a beer bar to only have 7 beers (none particularly interesting) on tap on a Saturday night. Not a place worth seeking out if you're trying to experience Vermont's incredible beer scene.

It was like a dove landing on a window sill in the morning dew.

What happened to all of the beers you used to have on tap? There used to be so many! When we came in the selection was nothing like it used to be. So sad to see! What happened to this place? :(

We visited Burlington from Milwaukee and this was my favorite place that we went. Keith is the nicest human being on earth and so fun to talk to, the beers were fantastic, and the french fries were amazing. The whole atmosphere of the Garage was welcoming and comfortable and we found ourselves coming back here over and over. I can't express how much I loved this place.

Great place. Beers are continuously rotating. Food is amazing. Live music is switched often, not all one genre. Games are fun and good atmosphere.

Great place near Lake for beers and food and games. Beer selection excellent. Was open Sunday night which was a plus. Looks like outdoor tables as well

Awesome place, super chill even on a football Sunday. Played darts and shuffleboard and enjoyed the great beer selection.

Great hangout with tons of craft beers from all over as well as tons of local options! It's a smaller space but it can surprisingly pack in a lot of people. They've got some bar games and some food as well. It's also nice because Burlington is a college town, but this isn't one of the bars college kids hang out at. It's casual during the day and fun at night! They also have some outdoor space.

Bartender Keith very knowledgeable and nice guy. My husband is still in awe of the tap list board and shuffleboard.
