This cafe is part of Fletcher Allen and is conveniently located very close to the medical library, where I spend a lot of my time. My co-workers in the hospital all say the coffee is really good. I always get a small tea. They have Choice Organic Tea bags in many flavors of black, green, and herbal. I've tried most of them and there isn't one I don't like. The old price was 50 cents, but increased for 75 cents, which still isn't bad. Service is quick except during mealtimes. There are daily soups, which I've never tried but does look good. These are similar to the ones in Harvest Cafe. You can easily get a meal within a few minutes as they have many grab and go options like prepared sandwiches, yogurt, and salads. One of my other favorites besides tea are the yummy bakery goodies (scones and muffins). These always are sold out by the end of the day so go earlier if you want one! There are more options than Harvest Cafe in this respect. Lastly, there is a small seating area down the stairs, which is again very convenient. It's right next to the bathrooms and water fountain. This place again is very full during lunch hours, but you can always go outside now that the weather is nice.

The soups & stews are great and cheap. Check the website for the daily line-up. Monday's beef & black bean chili is particularly awesome. The coffee isn't great, but it keeps you going.
