I have lived in the Chittenden county area for years and have tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the area. Volcano Asian Cuisine is genuinely one of the best. My girlfriend is quite the sushi lover and she thinks the sushi here is the best in Chittenden county, if not all of Vermont. Everything else we have tried (crab rangoons, lo mein, won ton soup, fried rice) were excellent. It’s definitely one of our three favorite chinese restaurants in Chittenden county, along with Oriental Wok (Essex) and Yummy (Colchester).

Ordered pad Thai and spring rolls from here. I was expecting something else, but it turned out I meant to order egg rolls. That’s totally on me, and the spring rolls were so good (a little noodle forward though!)The pad Thai was so yummy. Pad Thai is either completely bland or too spicy for me, so I was pleasantly surprised by the pad Thai here.I only wish they opened earlier so I could get it for lunch at work!

The food is always really good. Would recommend getting a meal option with the soup and salad, the dressing on the salad is really good. If you do place an order online, order status may be stuck on preparing even if it’s ready.

Best Asian food in Vermont! The sushi was so good and so was the steak stir fry. Coming from Boston I missed good sushi and finally feel like we found it. They forgot an item and personally drove it to us with a free speciality soda! Highly recommend and will order again for sure!

Best sushi I’ve had in the burlington area! Incredibly fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the wonton soup, it’s filled with fresh vegetables.

Pork and beef fried rice has almost no flavor, the Japanese egg rolls are interesting and pretty good but have no meat, crab Rangoons pretty good! But the goons made me sick after eating two and half orders. Pad Thai was not good at all, taste like bland noodles. Dumplings where Great, but , beware of the spicy sauce (like no joke, I can do spicy, but they should put a warning on that stuff). Pho was passable and sushi was good but disciptions could be improved. Guy who delivered the order was very nice. Would order again but only goons and dumps.

The best restaurant in Burlington. Without a doubt. Great people and amazing food. And prices are super reasonable, so we still get to treat ourselves to their awesome food now and then.We love to order their sushi boat, which comes with the best miso soup, a salad, and a surprise (always delicious) dessert. But they're wonton special soup is amazing, packed with yummy veggies. Dumplings are perfection (but the hot sauce is not for the faint of heart - so good for spicy lovers though!)

We ordered The Titanic tonight, it's a regular for us, as it offers a nice variety and is/was a good value. Though we used to love it, I've come to write a review because the quality has gone downhill over the past few years, and tonight the quality was poor enough that we aren't sure that we will order it again. The temperature of the sushi and sashimi was inconsistent, as if some were pre-made and refrigerated, then added to the platter, the sashimi was unevenly cut, some really thick pieces, and some really thin, the wasabi was oddly bland (not spicy at ALL). Volcano Asian used to be our go-to for freshness and value. I'm sad to say that wasn't our experience tonight. I hope they can return to the excellent fresh sushi and sashimi they used to offer.

Brought my parents to this place. It was awful. My father and I had pho noodles. They added vegetables that were not normally added in Pho. The smell of the soup was peculiar and the soup was oily... my father and I could only tolerate taking a few bites. My mother ordered vegetable lo mein which she said it was not too bad but they don't use the typical noodles for lo mein. We ordered 1 roll of the Spicy California Roll. It only had imitation crab meat and spicy mayo. Usually a California roll has imitation crab meat and avocado... The egg roll was okay but overpriced for the amount and quality. I don't recommend coming to this place. They're arranging food in their own way at their own convenience and not thinking about making higher quality of food at all.

Sushi was delicious, flavorful and just enough crunch! Best we have had in Vermont! We will definitely be regulars!

We are from Houston where are many Asian restaurants. Food/services are very comparable. However, we enjoy food and services here. The service lady, Yan, is very nice.
