The Lake House is a great experience if you're in the area. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but the food is good and they have quality drinks. Be sure to get a reservation, especially for a holiday or to see fireworks over the lake. (unlike the knucklehead who randomly showed up expecting a table, then was being a pain to the staff the whole time after they tried to accomodate him). Morale of the story... be good to those who are serving you. Especially when it's busy and the service feels slow, it's not their fault.

What a great spot! Wide variety of food, all of which was good . The view is stunning. The music was louder than we liked, both inside and out, but we were able to ask for a table farther away from the speakers.

The Lake House in Bomoseen VT used to be a very good dining experience. In 2023 and 2024 it was our go to place for really good seafood which is rare around this area. Now it's our go to place to avoid at all costs! The shrimp cocktail was a choose how many shrimp you would like at $4 ea. They were old and tasteless. The calamari was a basket full of the fried coating that fell off. Very few rings of calamari. What was there was rubbery. The Mahi Mahi was ok. A bit on the dry side but wasn't horrendous. The Clams Casino.... low grade cat food. Both dishes were accompanied by cold white rice and a few hard and cold zucchini. Shame the food didn't equal the scenery of the Lake and surrounding area.

Ethan was our waiter. He did a fantastic job. Couldn't ask for better service and his personality is perfect. The location is spectacular. The food is generally pretty good. Unfortunately, the mahi-mahi was seriously overcooked. However, we had a good time and we will definitely return.

Sadly, the menu was almost exclusively pub food... Authentic restaurant-style entrees would attract more customers... Frankly, if the menu isn't improved, I won't be back...!!
The atmosphere is amazing down by the water. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was very good. Music was wonderful.
