As the Duke of Ludlow, I figured I should check out the local castle (where I should probably be living). I started off with the Prince Edward mussels. The 2 dining rooms are lovely and we have dined here many times. Unfortunately the last 3 times (in 6 weeks) have been very inconsistent as to quality. I had lamb initially, which was excellent, and this past Saturday it was fatty and barely edible. My husband had pork previously, which was also excellent, and this time it was overdone and chewy.
