“We almost missed the place, because the front looked closed, but luckily we saw the open sign in the alley. It was a treat when we arrived as the atmosphere was lively, we had no reservations, but were able to sit at the bar. The bartender was great and helped us with the menu and made a special “mocktail” for my wife. We shared a Summer salad which was so fresh and my wife had the salmon and I had a pizza with charred corn. Not something I would normally go for, but based on her recommendation I did. It was very tasty. Overall a great experience for a tucked away little gem!”

“Had one of the most enjoyable meals ever. Farm fresh, imaginative food and libation. The jubilee was the best cocktail I have had in my entire life. Corn soup with lobster was sweet and succulent. Entrees full of flavor .. The wine pouring complemented each courser perfectly. And the service was perfection… Warm and welcoming. Made to feel like old friends. Can’t wait to go back.”

“Just passing through on a Tuesday afternoon and so glad I stopped in Ludlow what a great little town. My friend and I split a veggie caprese Panini, smart choice because it was pretty big! Hands down the BEST Panini either one of us has EVER had. Perfectly crispy bread and warm middle not overloaded with cheese or salt. Matcha and chai latte was good too and friendly service.”

“Would have been 5s across the board but there’s never parking and unfortunately we got turned away at 1:15 because they close at 2. ??? Change the hours if you can’t sit people at 1:15. Not cool, we waited in the parking lot til a spot opened only to be turned away 45 minutes before closing. Shame”

“Beautiful historic mansion that is well maintained and has great staff. We stayed in the non-mansion portion of the inn and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very quiet. Smart TV made it very easy to temporarily log into streaming services. There are some pastry/muffin style breakfast items available as well as coffee in the lobby. The staff historian gave us an amazing tour of the underground tunnels beneath the mansion, which include a very unique and still working telescope. As with every old building anywhere, there are some dust and cobwebs occasionally in high corners, but it is by no means dirty. Check in/out process is fantastically streamlined. We can’t wait to return and try out one of the mansion rooms”
